Very comfortable shoes for everyday use. However, be careful: while I normally wear a size 38, I needed a size 40 for this specific pair. They lasted me a year (although I only wore them) until one shoe ripped. One negative aspect is that when I put on the shoe, the back part of the shoe didn't fit well and I had to fix it every time. Well, this specific shoe has a narrow fit due to its construction. Indeed, you should get it one size larger for more comfort.
However, there is a "But". I bought it in my usual size for my athletic shoes. I had to completely loosen the laces to get my foot in and honestly, I was afraid they wouldn't fit me. However, the shoes fit me very well and they are indeed very comfortable and do not hurt my big toe, as I initially feared.
