The First Writing Notebook is a modern and pedagogically appropriate teaching aid for familiarizing young students with the writing style of the language. It follows the corresponding organization in lessons of the school book (volumes A and B).

Per lesson, students:

• Learn the writing style of letters
• Practice writing their first letters in an organized spatial layout
• Combine the oral and written form of language by completing the first letters in picture words that also serve as keywords
• Learn their spelling

The units are accompanied by review lessons in which students consolidate the "family" of letters through targeted exercises.
