We had a microlife that lasted us for years and after 2 years we bought this one. Well, no comparison. The mirolife had a deviation of 0.1 to 0.2 between measurements and was accurate when checked with mercury. With this one, it shows different temperatures every time you measure. The child had 38.8 and you could tell by hand, but this one showed 36.7, 36.9, 37.3... In short, it doesn't work and it's a waste of money. I don't know if I got a defective one...

  So far I am satisfied, I mainly use it for the baby which is not easy to measure with conventional thermometers. I don't know if it is perfectly accurate, but it gets the job done! Now, for confirmation, I will use the other thermometer to see if it shows 38 or 38.2...
