Honest for its price. I see no reason why someone shouldn't get it as a second hard drive. I do not recommend it in any case as a first hard drive to install software on it.
Data transfer at 100-120 MB/sec when connected to USB 3 (I use it as an external with a case). Perfect for this use if you already have a case. Otherwise, external hard drives are more affordable.
I have bought 2 identical ones and they "failed" within 6 months!!

I bought it in 2019 to replace it in a Dell Inspiron 3582 laptop.
The disk is extremely slow.
The transfer speed is from 1-10 MB/s.
Response time is from 100-1000ms.
Do not buy it for any reason.
The computer drags because of the disk from the beginning.
It was replaced with an SSD and the computer now works normally and at least 10 to 100 times faster than before.
Before, it took 5-10 minutes for the computer to open and another 5-10 minutes to close.
Now it opens in about 30 seconds and closes in about 1 minute.
It was purchased with the purpose of expanding the memory of the PS4 Slim. There is no noticeable difference in on-gaming speed (obviously, since the old one worked at 5400 rpm), but I have seen various improvements in standard cutscenes/ initial titles/ game intros-outputs due to the 128mb Cache.
I bought it as my 3rd storage disk, inside the same PC, due to its price and trust in the company, since I have 2 external ones and they have been working perfectly for over 6 years. A trustworthy purchase.
Burned in 1 year, with minimal use. From what I read here, it is not a reliable solution. I tried to use it for backup, but unfortunately it failed.
It broke down within a few months, his health gradually deteriorated, fortunately I managed to back him up and sent him abroad and they replaced him quickly because if I sent him here I would still be waiting, not recommended for file storage.
From what I read online, it is cheaply made.
Don't be swayed by the large cache (128mb)
Its performance is the same as a SATA2 with 8mb cache.
The disk is only for storage for games that I wanted, probably my mistake, they don't even load, black screen crashes and blue screen occur.
And scanning with Windows Defender is forced and it gets stuck there....after 4 months, it was replaced and the new one is problematic again, never again...spend more money to get something better, that's what I will do.
What I have for about a year and still going strong. I have loaded all my games there and they all play perfectly. I don't know much about write and read, but I'm telling you it's awesome for large storage space.
I have it for a few days and so far everything is fine (although the packaging they sent me was unacceptable, luckily the disk was not damaged). The speed in the first test reached 400+ Mbps, generally at the moment the read/write average is 360.... for an HDD, all I have to say is that I hope it will last like the other 2 I have from the same company... 11 years without any problems at all. I definitely recommend it.
It's not worth it, I had it for 4 years, it broke, then I got the same one again and it broke within 2 years on its own. Also, its speed is not good. I really wonder about the positive comments I see about speed and durability, maybe they have received the wrong hard drive and made an evaluation. I got a Samsung SSD and I calmed down.
It is a very good disk for both regular use and gaming, but the only negative is that if you do many things together (installing games or programs), you cannot use your computer well because it will freeze and have difficulty opening a program, understandable for an HDD (up to a certain point).
Well, I've had it for about 2 years. I consider it to be a very good choice for an HDD, quite reliable, it has never presented any problems to me.

Everything is fine, except for the 1TB that I got for the laptop, I also got a 2TB, where I did the following: I put the 1TB in the ps3 and the 2TB in the laptop. So far, they are working great. Today, I went to buy another 2TB for the ps4, but I am worried about the bad reviews from some people.
Good choice for a laptop. Instead of spending 80 to get a 120GB SSD and have faster boot times, you can get a 1TB for half the price and have space to download some things!
While initially I was happy with my purchase as I got it to replace my PS4 hard drive with this one, after a year and a half it simply died. The image froze while I was playing and neither the PS4 nor the PC recognize it now.
It's a shame because I have many Seagate products and I've never had any complaints. I understand that flaws can happen, but I didn't expect it to "die" so quickly.
It was used to upgrade PS4 1200. It was installed easily, without any noise or temperature issues so far.
Guys, I have a negative experience with this specific one and not just once, bad sectors appear for fun and the worst part is if you lose data... Seagate is not as good as it used to be, at least in the recent series. In 50 days of use, it had 300 bad sectors, which is 20% of its remaining health... UPDATE 2019: DEAD after two years.
It runs Win10 x64 bit efficiently and relatively fast for standard HDDs. It also plays heavy games without freezing with relatively fast loading screens. For anyone looking for an all-in-one bundle, I recommend this hard drive.

I have had it for about 3 months and it has not disappointed me at all. The speed is satisfactory, completely silent when working idle on the system (I use it on a laptop) and when it is under load, it makes very little noise, meaning you hardly notice it. Simply amazing for its price and reliable compared to other companies. Highly recommended!
Edit: After 7 months and it still works perfectly fine. Silent, fast, and reliable. Just a guarantee, guys, don't even think about it.
Edit2 (May 19, 2020): I also bought a second one for the new tower I built (as an upgrade for the laptop which was quite slow and old for today's standards) and I have had it for almost 8 months now and it works flawlessly (in SATA 3 mode, unlike the laptop which worked in SATA 2 because it didn't support SATA 3, hehe). Simply, the hard drive is amazing, that's all I have to say.
Edit3 (January 29, 2022): Now, after almost 5 years for the first one, close to 2 years for the second one (and both are still working fine), I believe it's time to say that they have shown me their reliability to the extent I wanted. From there on, it's just a bonus for me.
Since April 2017 that I have it, it has not presented any problems. Quite silent. Good speed relative to cost...
