The IZZY IZ-8205 12-liter is one of the largest capacity air fryers on the market, but thanks to its smart design, it doesn't take up much space on the kitchen counter. It has a variety of functions and presets on its bright touchscreen display, and it comes with many accessories that make it a real "multitool".

Before the first use, we washed all the removable parts well with dish soap and "burned" the device for a few minutes to avoid the unwanted plastic smell that usually comes from all devices when we use them for the first time.

A major advantage of this particular air fryer is the rotating spit function, which we didn't waste time trying out by making pork souvlaki. In 50 minutes, you can make your own souvlaki with your favorite ingredients and spices. Moreover, on the lower level, you can also cook your potatoes at the same time. It also has a rotating cylinder. No more constant stirring. We put a fairly large quantity of frozen steakhouse-style fries and selected the preset for frozen items. The time and temperature chosen by the device were ideal, and combined with the continuous stirring of the cylinder, we had an excellent result. The cylinder didn't get too dirty, and we put it in the dishwasher for cleaning. All removable parts can be safely washed in the dishwasher.

We noticed that the IZZY IZ-8205 is a bit noisier compared to other models, but this is justified because it features Rapid Air technology, with which the large fan of the device ensures that the hot air is sent in all directions, resulting in uniform and fast cooking, even under the food. And in this case, we didn't have any mess because we placed the non-stick IZZY paper on top of the grates, which also comes as a gift with the device in a pack of 30 pieces. We can use the same method to cook cheese pies, bougatsa, bruschetta, cordon bleu, burgers, sausages, etc.

The IZZY IZ-8205 has become part of our daily life, and there is nothing we can't make with it. In combination with its very affordable price and the guarantee of Benroumbis S.A., we would say it is the most value-for-money choice in its category at the moment.

As soon as we got our hands on the IZZY IZ-8213, we realized that it is an ultra-lightweight air fryer with a compact design that truly fits anywhere. It could even find its place in the smallest kitchens, and we can't hide that our first thought was that we could take it with us on vacation or camping.

It features a high-quality touch screen display, quite bright, with very good touch response and 9 pre-set programs.

The removable non-stick grill is easily removable and its cleaning is a piece of cake. It can also be put in the dishwasher, as well as the 4.5-liter basket. Along with the device, 30 pieces of non-stick papers are also included as a gift, so you don't have to worry about cleaning the fryer.

As soon as you see the Rohnson Dual Basket Air fryer R-2844 up close, you understand that it is a premium device, made of high-quality materials, and its nickel details truly make it a gem in the kitchen.

As soon as you plug it in and turn it on, you realize that it has a very bright and high-quality touch screen that provides functions that are hard to find in other air fryers at this price range. But what makes the R-2844 stand out?

a) Wide temperature range from 35°C to 240°C, which means you can dehydrate fruits at low temperatures, defrost food, and even cook dishes that require quick high-temperature cooking at 240°C (e.g. fish or fried potatoes).

We purchased the new Rohnson air fryer with great curiosity about the new SOFT COOKING function that promises to make food juicier, such as fish and meat.

At first glance, one can see the similarities it has with the undoubtedly very successful air fryer model from Rohnson, the Smartchef XL R-2834, and it seems that the R-2858 is somehow its successor, as it is called Smartchef XL 2.

So they have the same common and very successful features, such as the huge 8-liter basket in which you can comfortably cook for 3-4 people, with the very convenient Easy View double glass and lighting so you can monitor the food at all stages of cooking. The device is also connected to Wi-Fi on your smartphone, and from the Rohnson app, you can monitor the cooking cycle, receive notifications when, for example, you need to shake the basket or stir the food, and find ready recipes in the application's digital book.

Additionally, in the appearance of the R-2858, we can see right above the small water tank of the new SOFT COOKING function.

SOFT COOKING function: We easily remove and fill the 200ml water tank with water, and if our food requires the activation of the function, we press the Soft cooking button on the device's touch screen. The soft cooking icon flashes when it is in operation, and thus, at regular intervals and depending on the program we selected, it sprays water on our food to maintain moisture and prevent it from drying out.

We tried baking fish, chicken fillets, steaks, pork shank, and chicken roll, and admittedly, the results were impressive.
Below, we provide you with the temperature and time required for each recipe separately:

Fish: We baked sea bream at 195°C for 18 minutes.
RESULT: 10/10
The fish was well-cooked on the outside and juicy and very tasty on the inside.
The Soft cooking helped maintain its delicate flavor and prevent it from drying out.

Chicken fillets: We chose thigh fillets and baked them at 200°C for 23 minutes.
RESULT: 10/10

Pork shank: We baked a 600g pork shank at 180°C for 55 minutes in a preheated basket after making some holes to help it cook on the inside.
RESULT: 9/10

Chicken roll: We baked a 1kg chicken roll in a preheated basket at 185°C for 45 minutes.

The new function seems to have worked positively in all cases and truly provided the required moisture to make our food juicier and more delicious.

It is also worth mentioning that in all the cases we used soft cooking, we found that cleaning the basket was much easier. We believe that the moisture did not allow food residues in the bin to dry and burn, making their cleaning much easier.

We are curious about what else this new feature can offer us, so we have planned to try cooking rice, burgers, and dough to see if soft cooking can give us something more in these cases.
