Unacceptable. I have had it for 2 years, I bought it for the babies but it has incredible deviations. In seconds, it can show completely different indications. Yesterday I tried it on myself because I had a fever and it showed 37.2. I thought it was just my imagination, that I wouldn't have anything. The mercury showed 1.5 degrees higher. I threw it away, wasted money

We bought it for the baby, so that we can easily monitor their temperature, and so far it has not produced any accurate measurements. Always compared to an armpit thermometer. Unfortunately, it's a waste of money.

I don't understand why you say that it gives you such measurements, you're probably not doing something right. I measured with this and then with a mercury thermometer and there was a difference of 0.1 degrees. One said 38.7 and the other 38.6 in a child with a fever. For me, it's normally 36.6. I have had it for 3 years and I haven't even changed the batteries and nothing has happened to it. The hospital in my city has exactly the same one.

Waste of money. It shows normal temperature even when it's 38.5 degrees fever. It's like it's just guessing every time. We bought it so we wouldn't have to wake up the baby, but it doesn't make sense to purchase it since I always end up using the mercury thermometer for certainty and the differences are huge. No trust

UNACCEPTABLE!! A product that costs +50€ should not be so unreliable. It shows the whole family at 33 and 34 degrees Celsius. While the classic mercury thermometer shows a normal 36+ degrees, as the expensive infrared one should also show.

It's really a waste of money, the temperature was never correct even once. I always checked it with a mercury thermometer and it didn't even come close to the correct temperature. I should note that I used it correctly after reading the packaging instructions. It has remained in its box and we don't use it at all... a waste of money

Quite good. Like all devices of this technology, it doesn't measure the mercury thermometer, but it is extremely convenient because the sick baby doesn't need to stay still.

It has a significant deviation in each measurement. With the mercury thermometer, my child's temperature is 36.6, but this one shows 37.4, and I have made several attempts. I tried it on myself, and it showed 36 at first and then 37.4.

I read the instructions thoroughly, and it is really impossible to meet all the conditions for accurate measurement. It is supposed to be for quick measurement, but in order for it to be accurate, the forehead must not be wet or oily (and what if the baby has a fever and a wet forehead, and you want to see their temperature?). The baby and the device should be at room temperature (22-25 degrees) for 30 minutes.

In the end, we went and bought a digital thermometer for €4, and within a minute, you have a correct result, whether the forehead is wet or not.

All electronic thermometers have deviations, just like this one. However, they are convenient when there are babies who make measurements difficult in another way. They are quite close to temperature values compared to a regular thermometer and compared to similar ones we have used, they are among the best.

I am very satisfied with this particular thermometer, knowing that all digital or infrared ones never show the temperature exactly. Of course, mercury is the most reliable, but it is a bit difficult to measure a baby with mercury, or even with a digital one. With this, you can measure the temperature during the night without waking them up.

It is very convenient. It can measure from 01 to 03 degrees difference, but this is not a significant difference. You can measure the water temperature in the bath for the baby and in the house. One piece of advice... do not measure the baby's temperature when breastfeeding or immediately after sleep, wait for about 5-10 minutes. Because there will be a big difference. It has a storage box. It is a thermometer for everything, from measuring the body temperature of the whole family with an accuracy of about 0.2 degrees, to the temperature of the room, the water from the bathroom, etc. One day, I even measured the temperature of the icing that I was melting to pour over the cake!!!!!!!!! Easy to use, German and very stylish. It is perfect, I'm telling you!!!

Hey guys, the little one had a temperature of 38.30, but this was showing 41. Unreliable, not only this specific one but all infrared thermometers. However, for the night when the child is sleeping, you can subtract 1 and a half degrees. Is it worth the 45 euros it costs though?

I have been using the Thermoval baby for about two months and it has become the thermometer of the house. I measure the temperature of my children, my wife, and myself (when we are sick), the room (to turn on or off the heater), the water for my baby's bath (to add or not cold water), the milk for my baby (to see if it's ready to drink), and in exaggeration, I even measure the temperature of my coffee.
It is very reliable and accurate (checked with a regular thermometer).
It is very easy to use and quiet. It does not need to come into contact with the skin or the surface I want to measure.
German technology, as much as I don't like them, I have to admit their products are good.
I highly recommend it.
