If the state derives the meaning of life from a typical historical knowledge, official political education, which is based on this knowledge, transforms the human being and especially the new human being into a violent, insecure, ignorant, and neurotic entity. Then, his creative instinct degenerates completely and life collapses internally. Nietzsche seeks redemption from such a cognitive-ontological impasse primarily in Greek and Roman antiquity, and specifically in what from this humanistic tradition does not kill him. What does not kill him? The god Dionysus. He embodies the intoxicating liberation of the human individual from the funeral lament of the oppressed and despised creature. He is the god-symbol that opposes the heartless and insolent god of "rational" powers - political and cultural - of modern Europe.
