Built-in kitchen hob from manufacturer Whirlpool, with 4 cooking zones.
It is ceramic with a smooth glass surface, which turns red when heated. It heats up very quickly and evenly thanks to the heating resistors located beneath its surface. Also, it is easier to clean compared to traditional enamel stoves.
Operates autonomously, meaning it can function on its own without the need for connection to an oven. This means it can be placed anywhere in your kitchen that serves you best. It is suitable for combination with a countertop oven, as the oven can be placed anywhere, regardless of the burners.
Temperature and settings selection is done digitally and through touch. All options are located at the bottom of the hob and are integrated into the surface. Therefore, all you need to start cooking is a few gentle touches with your finger.
It also features a child safety lock, which ensures that the hob will not be accidentally activated. By pressing the lock button, all functions are disconnected and any hob can be quickly and easily secured. The hob can be unlocked by pressing the button again for a few seconds.

Very bad choice. The design with the 2 large burners so close to each other is completely wrong because you cannot use them simultaneously as large pots do not fit side by side. So basically, you can only use one of the 2 at a given time. Also, after about an hour and a half of use, the switch turns off by itself, for "safety reasons" as I was informed... And the worst part: After not even two and a half years of very careful use, one of the burners cracked. I contacted Whirlpool on Friday to ask if it is possible to repair the appliance since it hadn't been even two and a half years, and they gave me the final answer on Tuesday: it would cost me 135 euros to replace the glass, for an appliance that I had bought for 200 euros!! They even told me that it would take around 10 working days to order it from Italy, and that they were giving me a 50% discount, after first asking me how much I had bought it for.
