I got him purely for macro! And I also wanted a lens for portraits. So, it works for both in incredibly good quality!!!! I don't regret a single euro. Amazing lens!!!! It's worth it

I bought it purely for macro photography, but it is excellent for portraits as well. Incredibly clear, excellent sharpness and detail. It is expensive, but it has very good automation, build quality, and fast focus. The only possibly negative aspect is its relatively large weight.

Perhaps the best FE lens from Sony... It has it all, sharpness, speed, exceptional colors, build quality, stabilization, fast focusing. Perfect for both portraits and macros. It may be a bit large but it's definitely worth it. Must have!!
