The micro USB B port on the device does not make good contact with the provided micro USB cable. I tried other micro USB cables with the same result - the connection was constantly lost and the connected devices did not work. Unacceptable build quality.

I didn't expect it to need a charger and indeed, if you don't want to charge, it's not necessary.
The only (maybe) negative thing I found, but personally it doesn't bother me, is the length of the cable and its flexibility. It is short if you have the tower low, but for my case where I have a laptop, on the contrary, it is very long and not flexible at all. However, it is completely understandable since it is a high-quality USB 3 cable...

I have connected a mobile charger, a USB light, and a keyboard for the TV to the peripherals of the PS4. It handles them all without any problems. I highly recommend it for those who want to connect multiple devices together. VFM

Well.. after a long period of searching as a musician with many connected controllers, I found what I wanted. Really, whatever I say is not enough. First of all, my laptop, although relatively new (3 years old), recognized almost exclusively only one specific port of the sound card, an external one in another port, and if it pleased me, it would work with a Digitus-powered hub (which cost about the same as 4 ports) in the third port. And suddenly, everything worked in one port and one hub! Unbelievable! I have burned and changed about 7 or 8 hubs in the last 5 years - almost all powered ones. For me, this is life changing and I thank everyone for their comments that helped -
I will come back after a few months to update on its durability. Anyway, even if it lasts for 6 months, it's good enough for me.

At first, it looked like a "beast": 3 external hard drives loaded, 1 fan, and 2 smartphones for charging! It was running smoothly, not a single issue! But?!.. After 6 months, the second port "gave up the ghost" - (the LED didn't even light up) - and I can't swear that the rest won't follow slowly but surely... However, it has already been in use for almost a year and I haven't had any other mishaps. So, I'll keep my fingers crossed and we'll see... I hope I won't be proven wrong... (Not for anything else, but because it's a brand name, it's a bit "salty"!..)

I have it for over 3 years and it accompanies me with a PC running Windows 7 on my current iMac. It is a beautiful and elegant device, quite discreet and doesn't take up much space on the desk. Especially on the iMac, I have it on the base of the screen. It has been working perfectly all this time, but 1-2 ports no longer work. However, I am not considering replacing it yet, as my other 5 are enough for me. If it has one negative aspect, it is probably the small connecting cable to the computer.

I believe it is the best hub on the market. This and its little brother, which has two power connections on the side.
I have had it for about six months without any issues, although I struggled a bit with the installation at first, which could have been due to my computer.
I have tested it with three connected hard drives: 2 Western Digital 2 Terabyte drives, a Western Digital 4 Terabyte drive, a Corsair 64GB flash drive, and an Xbox controller, without any problems. I highly recommend it. Don't waste your money on cheap hubs.
It's a shame to lose data like old photos and videos.

It works perfectly on Nvidia Shield TV! Without it, the ports of the Shield wouldn't have the power to support external hard drives.

After trying a cheap hub from a Chinese store, I ended up with this one when I should have gone here directly. It is excellent! Long cables, good build quality, and all ports work simultaneously with whatever you plug into them! You get what you pay for in the end!

I bought it a week ago, the delivery was immediate, and it solved my hands. Beautiful durable even though it's plastic. I have loaded a fan, two printers, and a mobile phone on it and it doesn't present any problem. The 3.0 port helps you do all the work quickly. The best for its price.

After many experiments with various HUBs, I relied on evaluations and took it afterwards with fear of God. Ultimately, there are HUBs that work.

Perhaps the best USB 3 hub and relatively affordable.
Passed all endurance-transfer tests (5 HDDs working at the same time)

I have my own here for about half a year. It has only been out of stock for a few days, 1 week for relocation. The product is flawless. If you are looking for a power supply, for me there is no better choice. In fact, next week I plan to order a second one.

EDIT: A few months later, it left us. What a shame.
