In the end, the Chinese regulators from ebay work better than the Makita ones.

Quite comfortable and efficient to use. Its plastic parts look somewhat cheap. The chain regulator loosened at some point after intense use and almost broke. It requires attention and control of the regulator when vibrations occur. Satisfactory for household use.

From a box with one hour of cutting firewood to stoves...the regulator of the chainsaw blade broke. I sent it back to the store to send it to Makita for repair.
