Coming from another safety shoe company (Italian Cofra) and because the soles of my previous shoes broke after 4 years, I decided this time to try a different brand and came across these. It's too early to say if they are good or not, as every shoe needs about a year to "break in" on your foot, take its shape, and soften. Some quick initial observations:
1) They are made in Portugal. Not in China like most including the previous ones I had.
2) They seem very well-made at first glance. The leather, stitching, and sole have no flaws.
3) Are they heavy? I don't think so if you consider that they are boots, made of leather, and have non-metal protections.
4) I feel the protective part a bit more on my foot compared to my previous ones. It doesn't bother me while walking, but as I said, it's still early and I will judge it after at least 1 month of use when the shoe has taken the shape of my foot.
6) They have features you would find in more expensive models like WR, which makes it fully waterproof. Of course, I haven't tested it.
7) Well-packaged with all the certifications inside the box.
8) The right size, I wear a 46 in sports shoes, tried and bought a 46 in these as well. The size 45 also fit me, but I felt it was borderline tight on the toes and avoided it to prevent discomfort.
9) They don't need insoles, the ones they come with are of good quality. If they wear out, you can replace them with another of your choice.To summarize:
1) High quality and not made in China.
2) I like that they have simple lines, are all matte black, smooth leather, without reflectors or unnecessary details. They will look very nice with black laces.
3) They need time to see if they will fit perfectly on my foot and if they are worth buying.
4) I will come back with observations after a few months. Usually, in all shoes, they suffer where the sole meets the leather (on the sides).Thank you for reading my review.

After about 3 months of use, I am very satisfied with the boots.
In the first month of use, they softened. Of course, I treated them with seal oil on the first day. It is good to treat them once or twice a year to soften the leather and keep them in good condition. It also helps with waterproofing the leather.
The boots have taken the shape of my foot, and the protective part no longer bothers me. I added an extra insole for more comfort because I feel they are a bit big on my foot, although they don't bother me. At first, I wore them with thin cotton socks and they rubbed the back of my foot. When I switched to slightly thicker socks, I no longer had this problem.
So, take the size you normally wear confidently, and with an insole (if needed), you will be better off than getting them too small and having the protective part hit your toes.
They are easy to clean, the sole doesn't hold dirt and mud, although it may be a bit difficult to clean due to the small grooves it has. I don't have an opinion on this as my workplace doesn't have dirt.
They haven't been tested in heavy water, but whenever they got wet outside, they had no problem. Also, no issues with the sole so far.
I also switched to black laces. I wear them daily for about 10-12 hours. Make sure to wear cotton socks that cover the front tongue to prevent odor, and the shoes won't smell either.Translated from Greek ·- Comfort

As for the size, it is very good, I got them in the same size as my everyday shoes and my foot had room to breathe, they were not tight. Very good boot.

I wear size 43 in sports shoes so I ordered this one in size 43 as well, but it is slightly big, not too much but it doesn't fit me perfectly. I put orthopedic insoles in it and it filled up the small gap. The positive thing though is that when you work on your knees, it doesn't press too much on the toes in the front where it has the "bone" for the toes, as I had read in the comments.

First of all, they are lightweight with a very good sole. Comfortable on the foot for 8 to 10 hours. Durable and waterproof in water. The only negative for me is their tongue that protrudes as soon as you tie it and rubs against the calf causing irritation after hours of work. As for the construction quality, externally I don't know if the material is leather, but it really withstands a lot and doesn't make those scratches that you see on cheaper shoes. (Because I work on my knees and bent over, the shoe folds in the front, and in cheaper shoes that I used to buy earlier, it would crack, make scratches, and eventually create a hole there...).
And also important for me, after a year and a half, the toe protection doesn't "cut" or bother me, unlike others that gradually weakened over time, probably the inner lining and the metal in the front would start cutting my toes.
They are waterproof, I wore them on a motorcycle (in heavy rain for about 10 minutes) and nothing went through.
I can't say they are comfortable, let's not get carried away, they are work shoes and boots, not slippers, but my feet feel fine inside and I feel great after 8 hours!
