The cutter is only for show and I'll explain why.
At first, when I held it in my hands and tried to cut a hair, I was impressed by the result, but later on, after doing some work with galvanized wire, about 2 millimeters in diameter, I was completely disappointed because, first, the cutter struggled a bit to cut the wire and secondly, I later noticed that the blades had been damaged and all this after 3-4 cuts.
If I were to buy it again, I would buy it to keep it permanently in the kitchen display cabinet just to see it along with the other glassware.
