    Indeed a good move, although I believe that the corresponding thick plastic straw should also be sold together.
    The main problem:
    I bought it as a "backup" for my new thermos (Estia Travel Cup Save the Aegean Stainless Steel 500ml Thermos with Straw), but it doesn't fit, it doesn't even close!!!
    So be careful, it is probably for the immediately previous "model".
