It is a fantastic lightweight laptop with very good energy management, ideal for those for whom portability is the most important element. The build quality is excellent, as well as every component of the laptop (screen, camera, keyboard, touchpad, speakers, etc.).
I have been using it for three months now, mainly for office work but also for video editing. The laptop has never overheated, never frozen, I have never felt it burning or anything like that. I have also never heard the fan. The maximum temperature in the room where it has worked was about 30 degrees. Video editing was mainly 1080p if anyone is interested, and some 4k clips, I will return when I need to do full 4k to share my experience. The battery is excellent, and it definitely lasts 8 hours with light tasks.
When it is turned off, it takes about 15sec to turn on, while when it is in "sleep" mode and wakes up, it only takes 1sec. Unlocking can be done with face recognition, and it also has a special IR camera for faster speed. There is also a privacy cover for those who use it. It comes with a very small charger that is convenient for transport. The npu has not been used for anything other than auxiliary functions of the camera so far.
Overall, I am very satisfied and would recommend it to anyone who wants a reliable, high-quality laptop for everyday use.
For a premium laptop and its price, I expected much more. A similar older model from the same series with AMD RYZEN 5-5500U not only had zero lags compared to this one, but also had much better temperatures, resulting in zero fan noise. Truly, for a latest generation processor with AI capabilities, you would expect much more.
Overall, it is an exceptional machine with excellent display, battery, speakers, and keyboard, but there is still a lot of work to be done on Intel processors. I would recommend a similar model with AMD instead.
EDIT: After 2 months of use, I have to inform you that the laptop reaches crazy temperatures compared to anything else I have worked with. For example, with only the browser open and 3-4 tabs, it reaches 85 degrees Celsius and the machine overheats at the cooling point. I read that this is a common issue with Zenbook laptops with this processor. I would recommend going for one with AMD.
EDIT: 5/6 After the latest major update, something has changed. The major issue with high temperatures has been fixed and now it operates at normal levels. Additionally, its overall performance has improved.
EDIT: 16/6 Unfortunately, the problems continue for such a laptop to have such high temperatures, to the point where the aluminum body becomes hot enough to burn
