Through the articles of Giannis Miliou in this book, the history of the social and political conflict raging in Greece and Europe over the past four years unfolds. The causes of the crisis are presented and explained in Marxist terms. It is demonstrated that the memorandum policy is based on the contradiction between the declared and the real goals of the politicians. It highlights the key issue of the upcoming conflict between the Left government and the domestic and foreign interests that support the memoranda, namely the policies of austerity and the redistribution of wealth and power in favor of the ruling classes: the negotiation of the loan agreement. The alternative proposal of a Left government is presented.
