I got it in a time of need when my screen broke on the previous one I had (Huawei P40 Lite, which I will definitely repair soon), about 40 euros above the price here from a well-known orange store. If I had also given a hundred, I wouldn't have thought about it so much, but unfortunately, the phone has quite a few design problems. Some of the complaints I have are that you can't quickly see notifications without unlocking the screen if you're charging it, because the quick charge screen it has that shows the charging percentage covers them, you have to wait several seconds for it to go away or pull down the notification bar. It has a feature, the mini capsule, which has the option to show a so-called equalizer animation when playing music, this while when I first opened the phone it worked fine and the animation was smooth, at some point after some updates, it started playing as if it's at 20 or 15 fps, from where it looked like it was 30 or 60. I haven't managed to find a solution at all and I just disabled it because it was annoying to the eye. Also, many times it would freeze and either it wouldn't detect the music that was playing or I would stop playing music and it wouldn't go away. It struggles quite a bit to keep apps open in the background, which can become very annoying, I don't know if it's due to the small RAM, possibly, but it's not convenient at all. Also, the screen doesn't cooperate very well with the keyboard, I who had gotten used to typing quite quickly on the P40 Lite, can't easily do the same on this one, as many times some letters and keys won't register, resulting in me deleting and re-deleting until I write what I want correctly, having to type like a sloth. Its charging is definitely not the fastest, but it might be again because I was used to the P40 Lite with the 40W supercharge, instead of the 33W of this one.
Guys, the mobile phone is very good, I have it since December 2023 and I am very satisfied. In May 2024, it underwent a full upgrade from Android 13 to 14
(Update after 5 months of use. It has started to freeze when opening and closing applications. For the past month, it hasn't been playing videos sent to me on Messenger, and as of today, March 29th, after a software update, videos on Viber are also not playing. Disconnections from Wi-Fi, regardless of location, are still frequent. It's now counting down the days until it goes back in the box and gets replaced.)
It was purchased in late October for 150 euros from a large electronics store because my previous phone (a 2019 Huawei) broke and there wasn't time for research and ordering online.
There is a clear issue when switching between Wi-Fi and mobile data, where they don't function properly unless the device is restarted, happening in 3 out of 10 cases. The Wi-Fi signal is lost or disconnected from the network in areas where there are 2 available networks (there were no issues with the previous phone and no changes have been made to them), happening several times throughout the day.
The signal also drops in several cases, even in open areas.
There is a slight delay in response in certain applications, as if it takes longer to react.
When restarting the device, it can take 2 to 3 minutes to open.
Initially, I was convinced by the reviews that the moto g31 is a gem, but I encountered connectivity issues and returned it. I ended up with the Realme c51 due to budget constraints and being tired of searching. In the one week that I have had it, it has been a pleasant surprise. I was a bit concerned about the processor and screen resolution before purchasing it, but everything is fine. It has a dynamic RAM that goes up to 8GB, 128GB of storage space. It charges 100% in about an hour, comes with a 33W charger, and a case in the package. The videos and photos are satisfactory, it immediately received Android 13, and the sound quality is good. It is fast in opening applications, quick navigation, and streaming. So far, everything is good, it is a brand new budget model that does not disappoint.
