The Tour-X5 is a completely redesigned helmet, filled with many new features. As with all Arai products, every improvement is made with protection as a priority. It features a new VAS-A shield system, derived from the VAS-V system developed for the RX-7V, designed to maximize Glancing-Off performance, meaning a larger surface to deflect impact energy, while offering easy installation and removal of the visor. Additionally, the interior ventilation duct can flow air to the mouth or face for increased defogging. As with every Arai model, ventilation components such as the 3D logo duct, AR spoiler, and Delta 6 duct are designed to break during an impact for maximum Glancing Off performance.
