  I have it for about 40 days! Nice machine and makes good coffee! I make at least 6 coffees a day! It requires a lot of attention not to drop water behind and below the container with the coffee bean! A little water fell and went to the mill where the coffee got stuck and clogged! I had to open it all up! The strange thing is that I called Krups service and they acted like Chinese, saying that I used caramelized coffee beans and it got stuck, and that the model is not available in Greece and they couldn't help me! I didn't like their attitude at all and I hope I won't need anything in the future!

  It has solved my hands. I simply put the beans, press the button, mix the coffee in a shaker with an ice cube and I have a ready Freddo Espresso in 1 minute, without making a mess.

  I had a Gaggia machine with a tamper and a separate grinder and it took me 3-4 minutes to make 1 coffee and now I make 2-3 coffees in the same time.

  I have tried L'Or Colombia beans and I was impressed with the result. Fine grinding and extraction of 70ml at the Strong Coffee setting and you can enjoy a café-style Freddo Espresso.

  The main problem is the noise, especially during the grinding of the coffee. During extraction, there is not so much noise, but during grinding it makes quite a bit of noise.

  Very satisfied with the coffee machine. It makes great coffee and nice frothed milk. ATTENTION For cleaning the device you will need 1) Krups XS3000 cleaning tablets (there are 2 in the package) and 2) Krups F054001B Descaling Cleaner (which is not provided in the package) even though I only use bottled water, the device asked me to clean it soon. Fortunately, it has indicators for clean & Calc as soon as they are required by the device.

  The coffee is average, but we don't have high expectations from a semi-automatic home machine, that's why it gets 3 stars.

  For transitioning from a simple machine to an automatic one, it is a very good choice. However, adjustments need to be made to the grinder according to the brand of coffee for better results, and then you can even compare it to professional machines. It is honest for its price.   I bought the machine in December 2019 for my office. From the beginning, I was not satisfied with the coffee. It was watery, just like plain water. I tried at least 5 different brands and blends without noticing any significant difference. The main problem with the machine was that it produced a small amount of coffee, which was evident from the used coffee in the collection container, which was less than 1 cm thick.

  Of course, I tried adjusting the grinder according to some comments and with the fine grind setting, I saw a slight improvement (nothing amazing) in the body and taste, which lasted for one or two cups at most. The explanation for this is that the model I purchased (EA 8108/70K) automatically adjusts the quantity of coffee after 2 cups, depending on the grind. So, the fine grind does not change things - the amount of coffee that was being produced was small, at least for my taste. Therefore, anyone who has this particular model should not waste their time trying to adjust the grinder.

  After one month of use, the machine stopped working. The coffee collection light remained constantly on and the machine stubbornly refused to start. I should mention here that I am alone in the office, without any staff, and most of the day without customers. Before it broke down, the machine was making only 2 espressos a day - strictly for personal "enjoyment" (so to speak).

  I took it to an authorized Krups store, where they informed me that the repair would be out of warranty because the machine was purchased with an invoice. So, I left it for repair, even if I had to pay for it.

  I received the machine back after 5 months, unrepaired, and with different internal components (I had taken the precaution of photographing the interior).

  Okay, I am unlucky. It broke down, I took it for service, and I ended up with the wrong (authorized) technician.

  However, there is no excuse for the poor quality of the coffee.

  In conclusion, the negatives of this particular model are:
  - Terrible coffee
  - Terrible service

  After a year of use, after making the correct settings based on the comments I read and the instructions on how to open it to adjust the grinder correctly, I am completely satisfied. The only problem I had was with the frother, in the end all it needed was for the nozzle to be opened with a pin on the top of the thin tube, it was also written in the instructions with a photo but it was not easily understandable. It makes perfect frothed milk very easily, so it definitely deserves a 5/5 from me

  If you get a good coffee (I prefer Jakobs and Vergnano Ricco 700, but that's subjective) and not a cheap one, the coffee you will drink will be comparable to coffee shops. Of course, the amount of ml that will be brewed plays a big role. I would recommend the 30ml which corresponds to 21 grams of coffee. It has two options: strong and regular coffee. I always use the button for strong coffee. The only drawbacks are that the coffee residue bin and the drip tray fill up relatively quickly.

  After two years of use and having tried everything, the machine is garbage. 1. The coffee is watery and adjusting the grinder from the inside, as some say, doesn't make much of a difference. 2. It has a large waste tray because if you open it and see how much coffee it throws away, you will be shocked. 3. Suddenly it gets stuck and needs constant cleaning, it may even need cleaning after making just 2 coffees. 4. After getting fed up, I decided to open it and clean it thoroughly. What I saw was disgusting - it had made small piles of wasted coffee, mud in some places, and mold in others. 5. Poor build quality, cheap plastic that creaks every time it makes coffee, making you think it will break. 6. It dirties everything because if you lift it and see, it has a hole that, if you don't empty the water drawer every time you make a coffee, dirty water will leak out. If you haven't bought it yet, stay away. If you made the mistake of buying it like me, good luck, it needs regular cleaning with a vacuum cleaner on top, and as long as it lives, it can't handle oily beans (hausbrand). The only time it worked well and didn't constantly get stuck was with Lavazza Oro

  To achieve a good coffee at the beginning, you need to experiment a lot with its settings, but if you invest the time, the result will justify it.
  Update:
  Everything is fine as a machine, but if you ever need service, expect to wait for spare parts for at least 1.5 months. Personally, I had a bad experience with two Krups machines that stayed at the service center for more than 2 months (so it wasn't a coincidence). The coffee is good, but I will never buy Krups again because of their service.
  Update 22/3/22:
  In 2.5 years, I had to go to the service center 4 times, with long waits for spare parts, 3 of which were within the warranty period. Fortunately, the last one cost me 80 euros, but after 1 month, it broke again. I didn't even bother going to the service center and threw it in the trash. To take care of my health, I ordered a Delonghi and found peace.

  It makes good coffee, the super negative characteristic is found in the case of repair. There is no specialized technician to repair it. I just took it for repair because it was leaking water internally during cleaning instead of externally where it should have been, and it was the last time we had coffee, they destroyed it and couldn't repair it.   When I first bought the coffee machine, to be honest, I was a little disappointed. The coffee was watery and the foam was mediocre to bad. I tried different beans, but the result didn't satisfy me. I would rate it with 3 stars for sure. So, I read the comments and experimented with changing the grind setting. Following the advice from a video I found in the comments, I played around a bit and the result proved me right. Now I drink coffee just the way I like it. For those who haven't been satisfied with the coffee's result, I suggest making the effort to do the same. They will be drinking a completely different coffee.
