The best VR headset so far. A little difficult to adjust, but if you find the right setting, it's wonderful. I also recommend it for a full purchase.
First time with vr, from the little I have dealt with because I did not get it for myself I can say that I am impressed.
As for the build quality, it is quite good, it has quite a few free games (my favorite is mini golf). I imagine that after hours of playing the screens will be tiring for the eyes. However, in the approximately 1.5 hours that the battery lasts, I have not noticed anything like that.
There are times when the software freezes a little if you open apps and forget to close them, but a restart fixes it. During gameplay, it has not frozen so far except for one game which was in beta version.
When I manage to connect it to Xbox, I will come back
Excellent compared to the 2,
It heats up a little more and needs like the quest 2 head strap
It has amazing image quality, it doesn't have that blur that the 2 had, while the screen resolution is similar I would say.
One problem I have seen is that if you leave it connected to the usb on the computer even when it's off instead of charging, it discharges for some reason, so it's better to disconnect it every time.
Its battery lasts about an hour and something.
The passthrough is quite good (impressive compared to its old version 2)
Overall, it has many areas for improvement but it is something that will be useful for a long time and it is very fun even for watching YouTube.
Much better than its predecessor...; all AR cameras are not good (they create a lot of pixels).
Very nice experience.
The only good thing about the factory head strap is that it reminds you to take regular breaks.
Edit: Definitely not a productivity product. Not only there is no software for any real productivity use case, but even if there was, the headstrap is awful.
Get it for the games, buy 2 real monitors for any other use case.
I forgot to mention that I broke one of my (real) fingers whilst swinging a sword in Asgard's Wrath.
'The best thing someone can have for gaming AAA, movie and video viewing, browsing, and even a little bit of work. It is completely autonomous, with sufficient processing power, continuous support (they even added a Greek keyboard!), all your purchases are upgraded in the future (I transitioned from Quest 2 and I have everything I had purchased, compare it to ps3-4-5), enormous possibilities for free applications as well as many mods for blockbuster pc-vr. The cost for what it offers is very fair.'
Very high-quality product. Be careful with the various things around the area where you will play...! (there is a risk of breaking many of them...!!! haha)
The store sent the order very quickly.
Everything is perfect....!!!!
Reading comments is one thing, experiencing it is another. I had no contact with Vr and as soon as they showed me the meta quest 2 the next express delivery meta quest 3. A life experience and it is definitely the future. If I had to say a negative about my choice, it would be the capacity. Because the tough and good games are 15-25 gb, I can't have 3 of them downloaded in the game library. You have to delete one as soon as you finish it to install the next one. If I knew, I would have taken the 500GB. Games like Assasins Creed, Arizona Sunshine 2 and even though I have 37GB available space, it doesn't let me install Asgard with 31GB because it needs about twice as much to install. Overall, the experience and mixed reality are perfect. I highly recommend it.
I have had it for 6 days and I have to say that it is worth every minute. The only downside I have to say is that what holds it on the head is not very convenient but with 24 euros from temu you get a better one
Good overall. The most important upgrade in my opinion compared to the Quest 2 is the lenses, which have sharpness throughout the range. The cameras for mixed reality use are clearly better than the 2, but I believe there was room for further improvement. If used with the factory strap, it is somewhat uncomfortable. After one hour, it starts to tire.
My first VR so I don't have similar experience. Nevertheless, I have to say that I am impressed and I feel like it was worth every euro I spent! I have fallen in love with it! The only negative thing so far is unfortunately its battery, while I am enjoying the headset, I realize that the battery has run out again. I bought it for 674.50 and I would recommend it to anyone who wants a good VR as it has most of the features in the market. Wonderful resolution, I watch movies on the Bigscreen application, it connects wirelessly to PC, it has amazing speakers for VR, what else can I say! I highly recommend it!
It is impressive with very good quality without "blurriness" when playing, but the battery only lasts for 2:30 hours, so it's good to have a power bank. Also, after a while, the weight becomes tiring on the head.
Former owner of the Quest 2. Greater comfort, better image, automatic tracking and room mapping. As for the battery, personally it seems exactly the same as the previous model. If the price drops to 500, it's worth it. With the purchase, you also get the Asgard's Wrath 2 as a gift.
I bought it because I thought it would be like Nvidia's 3d vision. If you want to play games on your computer in 3d, forget it. It has its own playstore, where you have to download games and apps. Some are free and some are not (the best ones). It also supports Steam (again, paid for games). It is quite heavy for more than 30 minutes of use tied to your head. The battery lasts for about 50 minutes, unless you connect it to the computer. Other than that, it is an experience that a gadget enthusiast should live. (If you download games from the company's playstore, take pills for nausea ???)
Hello everyone, I am one of the users of Quest 3 and recently I learned that it is not supported by META (Oculus) in Greece. This results in the fact that they cannot send spare parts to Greece. In my case, I encountered a problem with one of my controllers. The only solution was to send it back to Germany, which means I have to wait for about 20+ days for it to return.
Due to the issue with one controller, I am forced to send it at a cost of 22 euros to my aunt in Germany. This means I have to risk it coming back with a worse problem and I will have to wait for about 20+ days until it returns to Athens.
This problem is very common and is called "Loose quest 3 thumbstick"
Works great in terms of functionality. The only issue I encounter is the small gap that becomes annoying when you are in a bright room. As a stand-alone, it has better graphics than the Quest 2, but I use it more for PC VR. Games like Half Life Alyx look unplayable and the controllers are very convenient.
I have the Quest 2 as well. I didn't use the Quest 2 often, but with the Quest 3, I want to use it constantly. The mixed reality is quite good. The games are the same but clearer, and it's a bit more comfortable for the eyes compared to the PSVR2. The battery is terrible, only lasts for two hours if you're lucky, especially for mixed reality. I haven't had it for a long time, but if it's like the previous version, it will last for years. The 128 GB storage seems insufficient and it's relatively expensive, but... I think it's the best VR on the market, especially with PC VR.
You get it. It doesn't have the blurriness of the 2. Even the old games are better on this. How much more when the exclusives of the 3 come out.
You're not obligated to only look at the center and turn your whole head, you can also look peripherally with your eyes. You don't need to search for the sweet spot.
Yes, and only for virtual reality you get it, you scan your living room and things come out of it, it's awesome. I gave away the 2 and got this one and I'm slowly building my library. If you're torn between the 2 and 3, there's no dilemma. No matter how much price difference they have. Gentlemen: VR is now as mainstream as the PS5 and Xbox Series, it's not just for a few, and it's not for later. Now is the time for it.
Negatives: Yes, I would like a higher resolution, I still see pixels.
Would I wait for the Pico 5? Not just because of the library.
