23-11-2022: The purchase was for an indoor gift, and the time period was short for its reliability, but I have made other Casio purchases that have lasted 15-20+ years. It displays the date in the old classic way, but the number is small and may be problematic for people with vision issues. The dial is relatively small, but aesthetically pleasing, and it is waterproof up to 10 atmospheres (10m depth).
