The VI 3000 RT HID UPS Line-Interactive 3000VA 2700W with 9 IEC Power Plugs by Powerwalker is a Rack UPS. It has 9 outlets of type IEC (such as those for computer power supplies) as well as an input and output for an ethernet cable and a telephone cable, protecting devices connected to it, such as a router or telephone (provided their power is connected to a UPS or surge protector). Its operation is (VI) Line-Interactive which continuously adjusts the output voltage through an automatic voltage regulator, protecting against voltage fluctuations and power outages. The battery can last for 7 minutes with half load or 3 minutes with full load (when the connected devices draw half or maximum current that the UPS can provide respectively). It provides pure sine wave power which is suitable for sensitive devices (e.g. medical equipment) and is preferred for devices with active PFC protection (e.g. computers).
