Future Light is the technology used in The North Face's new fabrics, which is a major innovation. It offers excellent breathability and high waterproofing. This is achieved with a very thin Nanomembrane which creates an internal airflow optimizing breathability, while at the same time preventing water molecules from penetrating the fabric. It is a soft and lightweight construction, which offers comfortable movement without restrictions.
Vectiv Rocker is applied to the shoe's midsole and consists of a foam material with different densities, achieving the optimal balance of shock absorption, stability, and energy return. The Vectiv Rocker midsole has a curved arch shape with the top of the arch located approximately in the middle of the foot. This optimizes the gait cycle, ensuring a dynamic push for the next step.
SurfaceCTRl is applied to the Vectiv outsoles and is a combination of intelligent outsole design with a blend of technologically advanced materials. It features a design with 3.5mm high V-shaped lugs, placed in opposite directions between the heel and the front part of the outsole. Thus, achieving optimized traction for both ascent and descent. The SurfaceCTRl material consists of a composition of soft rubber and 40% biological materials.
