But even if the boredom of a peaceful existence - after the pursuit of various experiences - tires existentially, repentance can shake a person and literally rejuvenate them."

"The repentant discovers that they become a new person not because they find a literally different self, but because they are liberated from what bound them to discover their innermost true self. And if the psychoanalyzed can indeed discover and accept their desires, if necessary bypassing their conscience that prevents them from sinful pleasure, the repentant, with their conscience preventing them from sin, gradually discovers that their desires align with the will of God. Thus, their life becomes infinitely more abundant."
