The headphones are excellent for vintage mixing & mastering, meaning in the style of 80s rock songs. As an electronic music producer, I found them quite satisfactory in terms of how clean the sound is. They help me detect every conflict of all frequencies, and I have noticed differences in the panning I do, as well as the levels I take.
However, I must emphasize that they don't have much low-end, meaning I have experienced many times that my lows are very chaotic without even realizing it.
Another drawback is that sometimes the latency exceeds half a second. (that's why they definitely need a good audio interface and ASIO Driver)
The headphones have relatively low impedance, which implies that they don't require special amplification and work perfectly with all the sound cards and devices I have tried.
I was completely satisfied with these headphones, and even though my dad bought them when I wasn't even born at twice the price, they still maintain their QUALITY today. I highly recommend them to all producers, DJs, or simply listeners in the music industry.

They are not headphones for running and walking, they are headphones for the studio. They have a clean and balanced sound, ideal for recording and mix/edit. Also, a very useful feature is that there is a switch and they only activate when someone wears them. When you take them off your head, they "turn off" and do not produce any sound, which is very useful in a recording studio!

I have had them in my possession for many years and I am completely satisfied. They are among the most successful closed-type headphones from AKG and the market in general. They have a very clear sound, sturdy construction, detachable cable, and mine have not suffered any issues all these years. They are very useful for studio use and recording. Now that their price has dropped compared to when I bought them, they make a very good purchase for anyone looking for something like this.

I got it as my first good pair of headphones, (upgrade from the K99). So far, I am satisfied with what they do (I have been using them for 8 months at work). I use them to work on home audio mainly at night so as not to disturb the neighbors. I like their construction. The pros are that AKG provides leather replacements and a coiled cable for a second one. I definitely recommend them to others to buy.
