    Coming from many yeylight models, I got the w4 because the w3 wouldn’t connect to Wi-Fi. It’s a shame I didn’t read the reviews for the w3 since someone mentioned the solution.

    The w4 is slower and performs worse than the w3, that’s all I’ll say. From the computer, it’s the only bulb that doesn’t turn off, or rather it turns off and on in seconds. The w3s are just fine; I’ve had them for at least 5 years and they’re still going strong, and even this bug they have can be fixed in 5 minutes

    Purchase for use mainly through Apple Homekit. Easy pairing with the ecosystem *however* the brightness when adjusted through homekit does not reach 100% of the lamp even if you set it to 100%. In order to have 100% brightness, you need to download and register in the Yeelight app (Xiaomi Account) and control the brightness from there which for me is a big downside.
