I bought the TV at the end of November, it was installed on 6/12 and played for almost 10-20 hours for 3 weeks, and when we returned, the TV burned out the motherboard after 1 hour of use...   It concerns the LG 50" -50UR78006LK- I bought it as a replacement for the 50" SAMSUNG whose screen burned out, 5 months after the warranty expired, (far from the dealership and their products). The sound is very good. The color settings are time-consuming and difficult for the average user. Although I was familiar with it due to my work, it took me many hours. Of course, this is a matter of personal taste. If possible, use a stable jpg image for the adjustment instead of a channel with advertising - programming changes. However, the colors of SAMSUNG are incomparably better and the adjustment is much easier. I would give it 4.5 stars only for the difficulty in color adjustment.

  It is a very honest purchase. With 400€ you get an LG 55-inch. It is a bit slow, the remote control is ancient, however, with this money, you cannot expect a magic remote control and fast processors. It is day and night compared to an LG 55-inch OLED that I have for 1200€. So, in conclusion, I would say, if you have high demands, go for something more expensive. It has a very nice picture and sound though. For me, every euro is worth it.

  About 1 month after purchasing it with an average use of 2 hours per day.

  Fair price for its features and what it offers.
  Easy placement and installation.
  There is a noticeable delay in the menu response, but it is tolerable.
  Clearly (as with all TVs nowadays), you have to "play" with the colors to achieve the desired result, despite the fact that the several picture presets it provides theoretically cover the average user - viewer.
  It comes with an application (you need to download it from LG) that provides conveniences and capabilities that are not practical (and fast) to exploit with the remote control.
  One drawback I found so far is that I cannot Cast from my Android mobile using the default option. A solution was given through the application, where for some inexplicable reason (to me) it is possible through it.
  An unexpected excitement was caused by the fact that the application on the mobile can fully replace the remote control with an additional capability of using a "virtual touchpad and keyboard" to move the cursor on the screen or for use cases such as searching on YouTube or any other application you want to search for something.
  I hope I won't have to come back in the future to write something seriously negative.

  I gave it 5 stars because it is a decent TV. I like the external quality except for the stands, it seems like they are not suitable for the weight of the TV. I mainly use it for streaming (Netflix) with Wi-Fi connection, which has never caused me any problems. The colors are nice with plenty of settings options, the speakers are loud, the only downside is that they advertise the new processor which seems to be slow. I did some updates that I noticed a difference but since you advertise such a powerful processor, I expected something better. The remote control, however, is more user-friendly compared to the new Samsung ones.

  A bad television in terms of color performance. I wonder how it is possible to have about 5 stars. Color rendering is TERRIBLE, the remote control is from the 1980s, the processor is AWFUL (it constantly freezes and when it doesn't, it's slower than a funeral procession) and overall, it's a very bad television. As for the picture, if you "dare" to view it from an angle, there simply is no picture. You see an almost milky image, with hints of faded colors. I believe I wasted my money. But mistakes, however, come at a cost.

  Good evening everyone, I bought it yesterday, 16-01-2024, coming from many years of having Samsung TVs. The TV is simply wonderful. The colors are stunning, the sound is perfect even though I had a soundbar, it turns out it wasn't necessary. Compared to a similar Samsung model I had, the differences in the picture are huge. The screen needs some adjustment for the colors and the menu is a bit more complicated compared to Samsung. I bought it for 448 euros with these features, while Samsung was selling a model from 2023 for 550 euros. Get it, guys, it's worth every euro

  It concerns the 43-inch TV. Where 4K resolutions are offered (not all, not even Digea on Greek channels), the image is unbeatable. What sets it apart from other 4K TVs in its category is the incredible viewing angle from wherever you see it, the crystal-clear image with amazing colors, and Web OS 6, which is one of the best operating systems. The voice commands and AI are something we will see in the future. Of course, all these refer to the category of relatively cheap TVs, not to be compared with 1000 euro TVs. The negative is that the stingy suppliers give you the cheap 5 euro remote control and not the outstanding magic remote Mr23Ga. You have to order that separately (LG unfortunately sells it for 40 euros!). They constantly advertise the magic remote as a TV advantage (and it is) and give you an app on your mobile phone (of course, this LG app is to control the entire house), but if you spend around 350 euros for the 43-inch TV, you also need the Mr23GA (the Chinese one costs 15 euros). Of course, Web OS 6 supports everything: Cosmote, EON, Disney, Netflix, etc. Do not forget that the optimal image for each person is achieved through the settings menu, where you will adjust it as you like. Disable the energy-saving setting, choose a vivid image or any other option that suits you (e.g. sports, movies, cinema, etc.). Also, in the resolution settings, choose the maximum resolution, not low, and then adjust the colors, lighting, intensity, and contrast according to your preferences. These require some exploration in the menu, but if you remove some restrictions from the menu, such as energy saving, the image becomes perfect. The preset image is not good, so do not write comments the first day you buy it without adjusting it

  The television is amazing! Its screen stands out among all the others, and that's why I chose it. If you make the necessary picture settings, then the experience reaches perfection. It does require a bit of work though..
  In terms of sound, it is impressively good for TV speakers. It will never match a subwoofer in bass, but the sound is decent! It also requires some tweaking in the settings here.
  If you delve into the settings (AI is a must and disable the economy mode), it reaches a high level!
  Otherwise, it has all the necessary ports, such as HDMI ARC, and all the popular apps are pre-installed and even more.
  The remote control is simple, not bad, but if it had the other one, it would be more convenient for smart usage. However, the LG app covers the issue!
  It is essential for many that it has HbbTV, which means that the red button on TV channels that have hybrid (e.g., ERTflix, ANT1, SKAI, ALPHA, etc.) makes it a game ;)
  Lastly, with 4K content and HDR10pro, you will see everything!!

  Very nice picture. I replaced a 9-year-old Samsung!
  The image is a plus, especially with supported HDR content, it's amazing. The presence of Disney, Netflix, Cosmote TV apps, and connectivity with Apple (AirPlay) are also great.
  As for inputs, it has the basics: 3 HDMI, 2 USB, etc.
  It doesn't have an audio jack output, but it has an optical fiber.
  The menu is user-friendly, it's fast in opening, closing, switching, and loading applications (no comparison to my previous TV).
  Disadvantages... this particular model didn't come with the magic remote as standard.
  Overall, for the 499 euros I paid, I think it's very good for a 55-inch TV with good features and a 2023 model!

  Update: through the LG app, the mobile phone works as a remote! It's great because it has a touchpad.
  Also, something I didn't notice at first, it has Bluetooth, so you can connect external speakers via Bluetooth and do your thing!
