The book you are holding in your hands could simply be a joke, grotesque or even historically outdated. However, it was written by Cesare Lombroso - for many, the founder of criminology - and that's why it is also dangerous.

The author tries to convince, 120 years ago, using the "modern" methods of the time such as biometrics, phrenology, graphology, and heredity, that all criminals could become anarchists or, better yet, that all anarchists are potential criminals.

That's why he proposes drastic measures to deal with the "internal enemy". International police cooperation, public condemnation of arrested anarchists, scientific study of their heredity (DNA has not yet been discovered), close cooperation between journalists, the state, and the police on issues of political violence, special courts without the presence of jurors and the strictest penalties provided by law, psychologization of their motives (children from broken families, drug addicts) in order to depoliticize their actions, organization of law-abiding citizens - with the assistance of the police - for the dissolution of anarchist gatherings.
