The watch features Bluetooth technology for energy saving during data transfer, with the press of a button. The watch can connect wirelessly to a smartphone via Bluetooth, allowing access to a wide range of functions.
An integrated sensor measures the local air pressure and displays it on the screen. This can be useful, for example, during hiking, for early recognition of weather trends.
A direction sensor measures magnetic north and displays north on the watch, as well as the direction in which you are currently moving.
The training calendar stores the number of steps, calorie consumption, as well as distances and lap times, and helps in comparing training units.

I give it 4⭐️ and not 5⭐️ because sometimes it disconnects from the mobile (iPhone 15 pro max). Otherwise, it is awesome, worth every penny and more. All its measurements are accurate with very minimal to no deviation!
I must say that I am a fan of G-Shock and Protrek. It is a very good watch, very lightweight and comfortable on the wrist, nice buttons. I also like that the screen and main menu have large letters (I have presbyopia at 1.70).
But the mobile application needs improvement. It doesn't always synchronize on my Samsung A71, and I can't understand why. Also, the information in the app is less compared to, for example, Garmin's app. It is good for more casual athletes.
I believe Casio will fix the app in the near future because they are being criticized internationally as well.
The user manual is here:

All the positives I mentioned in the previous GBD-H1000 (see HERE: https://www.skroutz.gr/s/23608944/Casio-GBD-H1000-1A7ER-49mm-%CE%9B%CE%B5%CF%85%CE%BA%CF%8C.html) still apply
and additionally (compared to the previous):
"+"
More practical menu, as you navigate the menu with button A (backwards, from end to beginning), and not just with D (from beginning to end).
Ability (via the app) to set the order in which functions appear on the watch, as well as whether you want certain functions to not appear in the menu at all.
Additional sensor (gyroscope) for swimming measurements, as well as for sleep evaluation.
More options for information on the home screen.
Measurements for more sports (in addition to running)
Sunrise and Sunset, Moon phases
Noticeably lighter (it is the first GSHOCK that does not have steel on the back) and more compact compared to the previous model. Also, it fits better on the wrist.
The GPS is noticeably faster now.
It now also has an oximeter (as accurate for a watch as all its sensors, provided the instructions are followed faithfully).
"-"
The Casio app is slow and bad, and the connection to the watch is not the best (for those interested. Personally, I don't care).
It seems that the battery runs out slightly faster compared to the GBD-H1000.
P.S. Like almost all watches with plastic parts in their case, it is NOT allowed to come into contact with hot water (as stated in the user manual)
Very good build quality, lightweight, accurate measurements, and beautiful! A watch for life (literally due to solar charging), what a great watch you made again, Casio!
