Just received the mobile phone! It is quite good for its price. The setup was fast, its screen is very good, the processor is fast, it doesn't lag, and its camera is decent, although not of a very expensive phone. The camera also has a PRO option, and I think if someone learns how to use it, they will take very good photos. We should be satisfied with the money we spend and not with our expectations, I believe. Anyway, it is an all-around good phone that will easily meet your daily needs. I recommend it.
After 6 months of use, I don't understand why it has such good reviews... The screen had a defect from the first days without any drop or impact and additionally I have a problem with the internet antenna and it freezes incredibly in video calls and navigation... In general, it does its job but I was not satisfied.
I got the Poco X5 Pro in May 23 for around €330. After 1 year, I have to say that the phone is a beast! I was looking for a month before I decided and ended up with the Poco. Well, in terms of speed, it is very respectable; I don't remember a single time it lagged. Now, regarding the camera, as long as there is light, it takes very decent photos; at night it falls a bit short, but I conclude that it has a decent camera! I don't play games, although I had downloaded PUBG to test its capabilities, and it ran just fine! I have a lot of apps for various reasons, and I have no issues at all. The speaker during calls could be a bit louder, but generally, it doesn't affect anything. And of course, Snapdragon! Overall, it is one of the best in its category, and as I said at the beginning, it is a beast. I happened to see the X6 up close, and for me personally, there was no comparison; the 5 is a level above. As I see it, we will go for a device change in 2026, if at all!
I really wonder about some reviews. The phone offers flagship performance from major companies at one-tenth the price. The speed of app browsing and internet is amazing, colors and refresh rate on the screen that you would expect to find in a thousand-euro phone. It doesn't lag, has large memory, and large RAM can handle heavy games. Its problems are the classic ones you expect to encounter in a Chinese budget phone. Ads in pre-installed apps, weak camera in low light, and the lack of metal or glass construction on the back. It's a steal for its price and a very powerful phone
Very good phone, I bought it for 280 euros and it has a very good camera, very good call quality, it has a very good battery and charges quickly. I am very satisfied and I highly recommend it to you
I give it so many stars because it has ads in the UI (which reopen when you close them) and because the microphone doesn't work well in open listening. I'm not a demanding user, so it does the job for me. If someone uses the phone more, I don't know.
Cheap construction. After 8 months of light use and in a case, the phone has bent, meaning it has curved towards the screen. Works very mediocre for its features. Stay away. I will also upload a photo.
My first Xiaomi and never again. It misses calls and generally messes up notifications. Additionally, it is not very compatible with the car application. Yes, it is fast and takes good photos, but it lacks in basic functions...
I recently bought Xiaomi Poco X5 Pro (256GB) at a discount price (my old phone was the Redmi Note 8 Pro which I've had for 5 years and it still works really well). So far I am very satisfied with my purchase, it is a good value-for-money phone, with clear picture/video quality and sharp Dolby Atmos sound. It runs very fast, is easy to use and has a beautiful design. It is also an excellent gaming phone. My only complaint is the battery, which does not last that long (1-2 days with moderate to strong use). However the charger is 67 Watts, which makes up for it with its super fast charging. I would definitely recommend it.
Very good device for its money (not over 300 euros). Photos in low light are above average, video is quite good with OIS, fast in applications with many running in the background. The speaker is good, in calls with open listening it gets a little muffled. It does everything and is worth it with some discounts of course in all areas.
Disappointment from Xiaomi, being a fan for years. Its features are fine for a mobile phone priced around 200-220 euros, but definitely not worth it for 300. Average camera, especially the second one is terrible, mediocre colors in general, many bugs in MIUI with downloads, etc. that don't seem to be fixed. The processor speed is not impressive and after six months, with average usage, the battery barely lasts a day. Don't be foolish, with the same amount of money you can get Ulefone or another Chinese brand, much better!
Relatively good phone but it has some freezing issues. Its speaker is very bad when you have an open conversation and it is a major problem for me personally.
Nice phone. The only thing I don't like is that from the first day of operation, sometimes, maybe after a few minutes of inactivity, it takes 1-2 seconds to respond to my first movement. Then it works fine and there is no problem.
For the phone itself, after one month of use, I have nothing negative to say... However, the charger that came with it, despite its positive characteristics regarding fast charging, gave up after one month of use... disappointing at least...
I have been using this mobile phone for 5 months and it has already presented problems... Apart from the typical Xiaomi issues, now, after or even during calls, it shuts down on its own and I have to restart it in order to turn it back on.
I recently bought this mobile phone, and I am highly satisfied with it, except for the battery. I am not so satisfied with it because it charges very quickly but doesn't last more than a day, especially if you use it heavily with videos. The previous one definitely lasted for two days.
The battery doesn't last as long as I expected.
On a simple call, the person I'm speaking to doesn't sound good.
The photo and videos are not anything amazing.
For me, the price should have been at 250€
This device is not very satisfactory. 1: It doesn't have 5G... it has almost the weakest free internet connection... 2: I know that the camera is the weak point of Poco, but okay. 3: I am a bit concerned about the quality and volume of the music, but everything is fine. I don't know, I constantly go camping or on long trips and I want to show something to my friends, for example (a video from YouTube or listen to music). I am confused because I spent my money on something that a mobile phone should have... the internet feels like it's 40 years behind, it keeps showing me an (E) all the time... Come on Poco, come on!!!
We got it as a gift for our teenage son. Full use in everything, from games and music to Netflix and photos. Stellar! It doesn't lag anywhere, very fast and good-looking. Satisfactory battery. In heavy use (like GPS or heavy games), it doesn't last all day, but that's understandable. In regular use, it doesn't need charging until the end of the day, maybe not even then. I think we couldn't have gotten something more satisfying for this money.
A mobile phone for grandparents who just want to make a call. If it has installed programs, it constantly lags even on news pages. It also has issues with charging ports, sometimes it connects and sometimes it doesn't. The touch screen goes crazy if the finger is not smooth. It has a good screen and a large battery.
Version 8/256, I have it for over 3 months and it is very good in everything, with powerful usage. I don't think it has anything to envy even from more expensive mobile phones!!
Version (8GB/256GB), I have had the device for about 3 months. At first, I was very impressed with how fast it is. The screen is amazing for its price, the camera is sufficient for the average user with some extra features like 4K video at 30 FPS. Importantly, it has 60 FPS in FHD with the front camera for smooth stories and the like. The battery, which many complain about, lasts perfectly fine for 2 days, it just takes some time for the phone to learn your usage routine and optimize battery usage as a device (let's not forget that with the 67W charger and fast charging, it reaches 60% in 15 minutes and charges completely in 35 minutes. 5/5 Especially if you find it for under 300 euros.
4 stars, because the battery doesn't last as long as it claims, even though it's supposed to be 5000mAh. However, overall it's worth the money, takes nice photos and videos, and has strong music.
8/256
The mobile phone for its money is a one-way street. The overall quality is very good and its battery lasts with proper management that Xiaomi has achieved. Clear photos, good video, and a sturdy construction as a phone.
The mobile phone takes better photos than larger models with double MP from the company I have and I compared.
The same goes for the screen
I got it in the summer, very good, I have no complaints, the only issue is with the battery, it lasts for two days with light use. I have heard about worse battery performance, but mine lasts for two days. If I see that it continues like this, I will take it for them to see, there might be a material defect
Owner 8/256
An incredible mobile phone that lacks nothing and perhaps has more than what mobile phones offer at its price.
The only thing I would like more is if it had OIS, but maybe I'm asking for too much for its price and features
A value for money mobile phone where the technical specifications are at a very satisfactory level. The cameras are good but that's about it, it's what one would expect from this device and of course there are much better cameras out there, for simple use and in good lighting conditions it will take a satisfactory photo for most people, it is not of course comparable to flagship level phones. For someone who wants to focus more on features like amoled screen at 120hz, a good processor, fast 67W charging as well as 5G connection, as I mentioned, it is a VFM mobile phone.
Purchased from another platform a little more economically at 285, I wouldn't mention it because I usually buy from Skroutz, but for quite some time now the prices on the platform in general are a bit high compared to before. Now as for the phone, for its category it is among the top 1-2 that are available, the battery lasts with normal use but not on the phone all the time, now during the holidays as I have more free time it easily lasted 2 and a half days until 5%. You need to spend some time to customize it to your needs of course with active power saving (the simple one). In terms of photos, it's not something amazing but very good for its price, large memory (8/265 version), easy transfer of contacts and applications from the old phone, very good sound with a Dolby Atmos function that somehow gives a greater intensity. In general, I consider that for 285, below 300 euros it is perfect as a mobile phone and generally having friends who buy more expensive or good phones, I don't see the reason for someone to spend more unless it's for the name or the brand..........because I also read some other comments about the sound and calls, you need to change the phone settings because it is set by default to make calls via wifi if it catches an internet network...as for the screen, it has settings to tap the screen twice and turn it on without unlocking.....everything needs activation and adjustment to your own standards.
Excellent performance like every phone from the company that I have purchased. The battery is satisfactory, but for the price it costs, I would like a little more (it lasts me 24 hours if I use it continuously, in a lighter usage 32 to 40), but it is the price for its high performance. Overall, it is one of the best in its category. The downside is its not-so-good camera in video recording, but it gets the job done.
I expected more from this phone due to its specifications and promotion. As a first-time Xiaomi owner, I didn't know what to expect. Let's now discuss some significant issues that this particular phone has.
- The always on display is not really "always on," but only for 10 seconds after the phone is locked. After those 10 seconds, it turns off and remains a black screen. This cannot be changed.
- The power button vibrates every time you touch it with a wrong finger, and that's where the fingerprint sensor is located. This vibration cannot be disabled. If you press this button just to check the time, the phone will unlock. If you press it with the fingerprint unlocking finger, then you have to lock it again. The fingerprint sensor should be placed somewhere else on the screen.
- And most importantly, the speaker is extremely unacceptable because when I use the Spotify app, sudden changes in volume occur every time a song changes, and I have researched this issue, but it cannot be changed.
- Also, when I talk on the phone, the other person's voice is not clear.
I only wrote about the negatives that bother me, which are crucial for me.
I am very disappointed with this purchase.
Update 2 months later!
- The speaker has improved, and it no longer has those volume fluctuations, not even in Spotify. It's fine now, so I'm giving it 3 stars instead of 2.
