It charges quickly and with the lights it has, you can see when a battery is ready. The only downside is that the device gets very hot, so for this reason, when I charge it, I place the device on a tile. I wouldn't leave it on a wooden surface for so many hours. As for the performance, it is fast and efficient.

It does not have overheating issues, no matter if it's from a battery or fully charged. The only thing that happens is that it gets warm, it's not hot in the hand, it just gets warm enough for my cat to find it comfortable and go to sleep on it. It also doesn't make any noise while charging, some tend to make a piercing "eeee" sound, but not this one. The charging speed is at most five and a half hours with eight empty batteries, it stops charging at the end but even if one battery charges faster, it won't stop for all of them, only for the one that has finished charging.

Also, it has no problem charging mixed types. Meaning, you can put one AAA and three AA in the four slots, and two AA and two AAA in the other four, and it will charge them normally.

Overall, since I started using Eneloop batteries, I stopped buying regular ones, I saved money and I'm also doing something for the environment.

I tried to charge batteries of another brand and it doesn't charge them. While the old one, which is also a joke charger, charges them just fine. It's a shame and it's very expensive. I expected more reliability.
