The author passionately supports the concept and implementation of communicative education in Greek schools, aiming to cultivate critical reading of the multifaceted language of the media and the broader integration of multimedia literacy in language teaching.

The development of skills in children, which will allow them in the future to surpass the role of passive recipients of speech and image from the media and evolve into critical or even active readers, can achieve what seems utopian today: Today's children - and tomorrow's adults - instead of being influenced by the media, will be able to influence the media themselves.
