Owner of 4 cameras (2 C310 v1 and 2 C310 v2), I have the following to say. Connecting with Wi-Fi is risky because it has many disconnections, resulting in missing event recordings on the SD card. My connection is fiber 100. Two out of the 4 cameras are connected directly to the router with an Ethernet cable and do not experience any disconnections. The notifications that come, no matter how many settings I have made, are countless (minus one star). It has good detection and relatively good image quality when there is minimal lighting and black and white with no lighting. Clear distance is around 4-5 meters, don't expect details for a greater distance. I live in a detached house. The installation of the product was very easy outdoors. The picture quality is clear both during the day and at night, which is the most important thing. Maybe it plays a role that it is located near the router. I bought a second one and I will also buy a third one. It is protected from rain, but not from humidity. It works perfectly and has been operating for 1 year
The camera comes with the charger but not the micro SD or anything else. It has good image quality day and night, but it requires strong internet to function perfectly and the settings must be correct, otherwise it will constantly bother you with notifications or miss people passing by because the boundaries you have set are wrong. If it is in continuous recording, it requires around 1.5 GB of storage space per day. Its siren is loud and its microphone is excellent. Be careful not to let the sun hit the lens directly, as it will result in a white blurry image and nothing else.
Overall, it was installed relatively easily. The image is good and at night it's average. The problem is with the notifications, it either sends too many or none at all... but overall, I recommend it for surveillance. Oh, and it's not easy to manage from the app in the sense that it doesn't group them well. Overall, it was a fair purchase and I look forward to seeing how long it will last. I wouldn't say that I was impressed by the quality of the image. Of course, for the money I paid, I shouldn't have expected something better. It is weather resistant (I think it's IP65) and the WiFi signal is strong. It has a good image during the day BUT it lacks at night. One downside is that it comes with a 12v adapter, so for outdoor use, an electrical box and a two-pin female plug are required. I bought one and installed it in my place, but I wasn't convinced enough to buy the rest for a detached house (it needed at least 4 all around). In the end, I went for a more expensive but much better solution (bought from abroad with a 180+ degree bird's eye view angle) and I had to bring them from abroad when coming for vacation. PS Practical vertical collaborations in Greece give and take BUT don't wake up the independent authorities!!!

Easy installation unlike hikvision which couldn't pair with anything with the app on the mobile.
The camera is quite good, it just records when it detects motion. I want to explore it a bit more and I will come back... The zoom is not that great, I have it on the second floor and with zoom, the license plate is not clear
I use both versions of the TP-LINK Tapo C310, V1.0 and V2.0. It seems that they are practically identical. They differ slightly in terms of sensor size (V1.0: 1/2.7' - V2.0: 1/2.8'), while both sensors have the same recording result.
Until now, the C310 V1.0 has received more updates than the V2.0.
Just like the V1.0, the V2.0:
- Easy installation.
- Easy-to-use app, which seamlessly manages a combination of Tapo C110, C200, C310, and C320WS.
- Good viewing angle of ~102°.
- Very good image quality during the day, good black and white image quality at night with IR LEDs, and very good color image quality at night with manual adjustment of daylight illumination, if there is satisfactory peripheral lighting, for example, within a city.
- Easy recording setup with motion detection at a user-defined viewing point, on a defined line, and within a defined field.
- If you receive excessive notifications, then remove the detection from the entire camera field and select the desired field, defining very specific recording zones that are not affected by animals and trees. I preferred using "line crossing detection" to define the zones, as it provides more flexibility.
- The dual antenna provides excellent connectivity, even with marginal Wi-Fi signal.
- Useful dual connection with Wi-Fi and Ethernet.
- Easy search for recordings (after inserting an SD card).
- Micro SD card 128GB - 6 weeks of recording, at 3MP, with motion detection.
- Easy download of desired snapshots on the mobile device. During playback, I "record" the part that interests me and then download it to my mobile device.
The sound quality is average, but depending on where you place it, it may be unnecessary to consider. For example, if you place it at a height of 3-4m, I don't think there is a demand for the camera's built-in microphone to adequately record a conversation at 4, 6, or 8m, while also filtering out "ambient sounds". However, it functions satisfactorily as a doorphone at a height of around 2.5m.
Easy sharing of additional viewers on 2 or more mobile devices, with limited permissions:
A) For full camera settings permissions on both mobile devices: Use the same Tapo account credentials on the second mobile device.
B) For limited camera permissions on the second mobile device: Create a second Tapo account for the second mobile device. Then, through the first Tapo account that you set up for the camera, select "Device Sharing" and enter the email of the second Tapo account, which will then receive an acceptance message, etc.

--------Common Features of C100 C110 C200 C210 C310 C320WS--------
The TAPO series has some common features, which personally have not diminished my overall user experience, but it is worth noting them, even as troubleshooting.
A) One of these is the rare but existing limitation of live feed when someone is on a different SSID Wi-Fi, with AP Isolation, with Mobile Data on, etc. These are rare conditions that are literally unknown when and in which setup they will appear.
I have continuous live feed for hours via 4G without receiving such a message.
I have continuous live feed for hours through different SSIDs of the same local network, from different viewing devices, without receiving such a message.
However, it has happened to me to connect from a specific device to a different SSID on the same local network and receive this message.
The notification appears as a time acceptance message for continuity, after a few minutes (usually 5 minutes) of continuous live streaming, where if the acceptance for continuity is not pressed, then the live feed stops. Literally annoying. Personally, in all the cameras I have installed and with all the different everyday use setups, it only happened once repeatedly. But it was enough to cause annoyance.
Solutions:
1) View from wifi with the same name (SSID).
2) Disable AP Isolation on the wifi router.
3) Reduce the firewall, if enabled on the wifi router.
4) Turn off mobile data (because when the device falls below a certain db of wifi, it searches for another data connection).
5) Try from another device to see if the issue persists.
6) If none of the above works, use the trial period of tapocare, which promises more stable transmission but unfortunately with other limitations, apart from the cost of use.
B) There is no snapshot in the motion detection notification without the TapoCare monthly subscription. The service of integrating an image from the camera's feed into each motion detection notification is only available with a subscription. The issue arises in the extremely rare case that someone steals the camera along with the micro SD card.
Solution without subscription:
Assuming you have a local NAT server, you can enable recording on your server via RTSP. It is not an ideal solution, but it is a solution in an extremely rare case.
C) Cameras with AI person detection work satisfactorily, but there will definitely be improvements in future firmware updates.
D) Recording at 15FPS, which makes smooth playback at a fast pace of 4x and above difficult. 15FPS is acceptable for the cost of the TAPO series, but especially in the 4MP cameras, they could have recording at 25FPS and H.265, like the EZVIZ cameras (which, however, have a higher cost).
