The slippers are comfortable in size, with a soft "step". They are not the softest I have ever tried, but they are in that golden mean that they are both soft and supportive. They have a relatively wide fit, with space in the front for the toes. I don't know how durable they will prove to be because I received them today. However, the previous ones from this company lasted me for years... I didn't want to throw them away.
