The RS 3 allows you to start operating immediately. When the gimbal is powered off, press and hold the power button and the three axes unlock while the gimbal automatically extends, allowing you to start working within seconds. Press the power button once, and the axes automatically lock and enter sleep mode, making transportation and travel significantly more efficient. Press and hold the power button and it will fold and lock automatically.

Weighing just 1.3 kg/2.8 lbs (including the gimbal, battery handle, and quick-release plates), the RS 3 can be easily held with one hand, while the 3kg/6.6lb load capacity is more than enough to support mainstream cameras such as the Sony A7S3 or Canon R5 with a 24-70mm F2.8 lens.

When you need even smoother results, activate the SuperSmooth function. The RS 3 will increase motor torque to further enhance stabilization, providing steady footage even in fast-moving scenarios or when using lenses with a focal length equivalent to 100 mm.

Compared to the black-and-white screen of the RSC 2, the RS 3 is equipped with a fully colored 1.8-inch OLED touchscreen with an 80% larger display. It also supports most of the settings of the Ronin app, providing intuitive and precise control along with the redesigned user interface.

The RS 3 supports the Ronin image transmitter (formerly known as the Ronin RavenEye image transmitter) for transmitting live HD 1080p/30fps streams directly to a mobile device. The maximum transmission distance is 200 meters and the end-to-end transmission delay is only 60 ms. A smartphone can also be connected to the RS 3's NATO port with the phone holder for wireless monitoring.

The new RS 3 battery grip features a quick-release design, making it easier to change batteries and smaller for storage compared to the RSC 2. It can even be charged independently from the gimbal.

The redesigned briefcase handle is foldable for convenient storage and comes with a new ergonomic handle for easier and faster setup and transition to briefcase mode. The integrated cold shoe mount and 1/4"-20 support screw can be attached to external monitors for shooting assistance, making low-angle camera movements more user-friendly.

Install the vertical camera mount to secure the camera vertically on the RS 3, avoiding the camera ports, allowing easy portrait shooting from different angles for high-quality social media content.
