Cool, lightweight feel and speed
The mesh material throughout the upper surface provides a lightweight, breathable feel. The mesh material was placed in the appropriate areas based on runners' feedback, offering a cool fit where needed.
Lacing system and support
Feel the stability offered by the midfoot strap. It combines with the laces, ensuring greater foot stability as you tighten them.
Powerful running performance with a soft feel
The ultra-soft foam throughout the midsole ensures shock absorption for the foot with every step. The increased height provides a softer feel as you run.
Details:
The rubber outsole provides the traction needed for a stable grip on the pavement
Overlays on the toes and eyelets for durability
Mesh material that highlights the internal elements in the midfoot and toes

In an 8-hour shift, I got very tired. They are hard even though they are a larger size because they are tight, and after a few weeks, the fabric tore at the front seams. Unacceptable for Nike. It's not even worth 10€, get something else.
And stop some people saying that the shoes are not for babies... 40+ crowd... you all are... Cheap shoes bought for 33.5 euros... Not suitable for running because the sole does not absorb shocks nor does it have much bounce... but for 33 euros you can't expect much. The fit is narrow and for size 43 with a foot length of 28 cm, a comfortable size is 45 or 29.5 cm. I wear them just for office work. Or for a short walk to a café, not for long walks or standing for hours... for such shoes, you need 100+ euros. I will come back after a month
Stay away from these, with just a few months of daily use, they started to open up in 5-6 places, I took them for stitching but they opened up even more, zero build quality
After two months, with moderate use for walking, without having run even once, the fabric opened at the front/top part, just as other friends have mentioned here. Disappointment.
1 star only for the good design. The shoes are inflexible, hard, and the materials of the sole do not provide much stability. Nike is not worth it at these prices. One of the worst, if not the worst, shoes I have ever used. The previous Downshifter series were much better. They didn't even last 6 months and these fibers that it has ripped apart. Stay away.
Quality sucks. The black fabric on the outside ripped. It's used daily but the shoe doesn't get worn out. The sole is hard, you feel like you're going to fall.
It might be the worst shoe I have ever worn (including slippers and sandals and whatever else). It is the most dysfunctional shoe ever, I sit at my desk and want to be barefoot! I refuse to believe that it is actually Nike.
All the Downshifters I have had and tried were very good shoes. We will never know what happened here. They told me that you can't find such a sole for this price. Hmmm... It burns my foot and hurts everywhere, on the sides, underneath...
As soon as you wear them and they break a little on top, their design completely changes and they become like the shoes Goofy wears.
Meanwhile, for the first time, the sizes do not follow Nike's line. No matter what size you wear, forget it, here we are talking about another level of shoe-foot miscommunication!!!!!
Unfortunately, it is indeed a waste of money. Even if you find them for 15€, I would suggest not buying them, no matter how tempting it is to have a recent Nike model for such a low price. In the first week, you will be thinking about what your next shoe will be. That's it.
Update: 2 months of use and they have torn as shown in the photo, between the seams. A waste from the first day...
Unacceptable build quality, Nike seems to have lowered the quality of its shoes in this category. They tore in multiple places on the upper within a span of 3 months!
Bought for 52.5 euros. Size 42.5 and weight 281g. It is a shoe for light training and short distances. As a running shoe, it is heavy and inflexible, with a very thick fabric that results in the foot's temperature rising quickly. It has a tongue with elastic that keeps the foot stable and its heel is soft. The sole is stable and soft, with moderate absorption and responsiveness.
The worst shoes I have ever worn. They broke 2 hours after purchase. The mesh fabric is so delicate that it tears with the slightest scratch. I do not recommend it, stay away, not even for free would I take it again
The worst Nike shoe I have ever bought. Its fabric is sensitive and tears where it folds at the beginning of the toes. I am a fan of Nike but this particular one is not worth it. It lasted me only 3 months. Used for walking and gym training.
I have sizes 9, 10, 11, and 12. So, the size 12 has a flaw in that when you fold the shoe, the plastic mesh on top leaves a small gap where it folds (it looks like a small tear), a flaw that previous models did not have. They are not, therefore, of sufficient quality for running. However, they are good for walking, like all previous models. (Essentially, it is the mesh that changes in each version and maybe slightly the sole of the shoe.)
All downshifter models are lightweight, comfortable, fold easily, and generally make you feel like your foot is firmly planted on the ground (which is why I buy them). However, they are not very durable and I notice that their lifespan with intensive use is about a year. After that, ALL of them tear somewhere in the mesh. The sole does not tear, it is good.
I do not find them the most beautiful shoes I have ever bought, but they do the job for running or simply walking and they do it very well. They are very comfortable, I wear them all day now and they never had the "hardness" of a new shoe. Better than I expected. And for the price? Let's not even discuss it.
update: after 25km of running mainly on uphill terrain: unexpectedly excellent, they comfortably handle long distances of 15-20-25km and are still soft enough that I can wear them again after a few hours for recovery. (I also ran them on a 14km trail run and they performed great).
I also bought this specific model, it is a quite lightweight shoe but it doesn't seem to be durable. If they last for about 8 months, it will be a surprise
As other colleagues have written in their comments, I confirm the following:
Definitely, you need to order a size larger than what you normally wear.
On the official Nike website, they offer the option of choosing between a narrow and wide fit, but I couldn't find this option on online stores.
The overall feeling that the shoe gives, especially in terms of heel support, is strange. In another model of the same company that I wear daily, the support is clearly better. I have the feeling that the shoe might slip off my foot... although it doesn't actually happen.
Lastly, the packaging of the product came in a box that was not the classic Nike orange, but it was the color of cardboard. However, all the distinguishing features were present, such as the seal, QR code, and product details.
I hope that with daily use for 2-3 days, the shoe will loosen up and the feeling will improve.
I use it for work, walking, and a two-hour walk (not for running).
Overall, I had higher and better expectations from this particular shoe, especially from this company
When you wear them for the first time and run, you will feel discomfort in the sole but after 2-3 uses it will go away, their quality is good but I haven't used them many times so I don't have a complete opinion, the shoe fit me perfectly and fits snugly on the foot.
Perhaps the worst downshifter in the series. It cannot be compared to the comfort of the 10 and 11, and what is impressive is the cheap construction, a lot of plastic that resembles imitation. Classic Nike of recent years, it is better to buy something expensive from it, otherwise, you are playing dice.
Soft comfortable lightweight shoe, however the size 44 that I wear in my Nike shoes was tight and I got the 44.5. It doesn't provide good stability, sometimes I feel like the back of the shoe doesn't hold my heel well, with thin socks in the summer there might be an issue. The quality of construction and durability will be evident in the future.
Edit: Although I don't use them for rough use, after about 10 months they opened up from the top and sides. While I really liked the fit, unfortunately the fabric is not at all durable.
Prefer something else because you will regret spending your money
