I have never used such a tool before, so I don't have much of an opinion, but it is much bulkier and heavier than I expected. It also produces incredibly more dust than any other type of sander I have worked with, obviously because it removes much more material. However, it sands much faster and levels the surface very nicely. What impressed me the most is that even with very coarse sandpaper (40 grit), it achieves a smooth finish without scratches (as long as you sand parallel to the wood grain), almost ready for painting (I sanded old bee cells and bee cell floors).
Very good machine, very powerful, good speed settings, nice weight. Restful without vibrations and convenient handles. Made of quality plastic. It takes sandpaper from all brands as long as it is up to 75x533. (pay attention to the installation direction for correct results and proper adjustment of the spacer, otherwise it will ride on the guide and eat the plastic of the machine)
