Health Education is an educational process that aims to improve and enhance the quality of school life and connect the school with social reality. Health Education and Promotion aim to develop and defend the mental, physical, and social health of students through the cultivation of critical thinking and the promotion of their health.

It is an attitude and a way of life, and it should be implemented as early as possible in our lives, starting immediately after birth. It is related to active/experiential learning and aims to change the attitudes and behaviors of students by enhancing responsibility, communication, self-confidence, self-esteem, personality, and the ability of students to adopt healthy lifestyles.

The quality of life is also related to the change and improvement of our way of life. The units of the book concern important aspects of our daily lives and aim at the experiential learning and education of our students. Specifically, children through experiential activities, which aim to practice, provide information, and raise awareness, will learn the values of healthy eating, the value of oral and physical health, the values of volunteering, and will get to know their bodies through enjoyable, but above all experiential and educational activities.
