Description

One of the most characteristic figures in Greek Mythology was Narcissus. A handsome young man from Boeotia, son of the Nymph Liriope and the river god Cephissus, whom tradition holds died admiring himself in the river's water, which he used as a mirror.

In reality, the narcissus is a flower. In winter, due to the cold and very low temperatures, few plants grow normally and bloom, offering rich, colorful flowers. The narcissus is such a plant that stands out in the frosty winter atmosphere for its large yellow and white flowers that have an extremely intoxicating fragrance. That is why it is widely known as "the flower of ice."

Alexandra Palaiologou is beautiful, wealthy, and soon to become very famous, conquering the title of queen of Greek television. She married her great love, Leonidas, who adores her, and together they had a son, Homer. She always has her childhood friend Elina by her side, who rushes to her every need, and her parents, who never deny her anything. One could say she is a very lucky and completely happy woman. But she is not.

In the book's story, the heroine is not Alexandra, its protagonist. The real heroine is Elina, and the tragic heroes are Leonidas and little Homer. Soon you will understand why…

Review this product
  • Book that reads like a fairytale with the way it is written. Nice story that talks about jealousy and how the television lens can change you as a person. Two best friends who will become strangers and a secret love that turns everything upside down.
