I believe it is the ideal middle solution for smartwatches and fitness trackers. As a smartwatch, it has almost everything such as calls (very good sound), notifications, weather, altitude, barometer, stopwatch, alarms, etc. except for NFC payments and Alexa in Greece (while the app store is poor). As a fitness tracker, however, it surpasses the competition where, in addition to the classic steps, pulses, oximeter, stress, etc., it has elements from Garmin that you pay for, such as physical fitness index (PAI), training performance, training load, and recovery time, which you cannot find in any other smartwatch and help tremendously to see what is happening rather than just hitting a elliptical machine. Finally, what pushed me to buy it (along with PAI) is the open water GPS for which I had to go to Garmin Swim, which has not even half the functions of the GTR3. Aesthetically, it follows a different line from the usual military looks and I go to the mountain for survival for 1 month, it is more elegant and has something of Bauhaus style that you find in Junghans and Nomos. The battery with always-on display lasts for 5 days and coming from Samsung is a game changer criterion. I have no opinion on durability over time, but certainly in hardware it loses against titanium cases and sapphire crystal with double the cost
4 months after purchase, our watch stopped working. The touch screen and the wheel are unresponsive. From the beginning, call quality was terrible. I couldn't be heard and there was microphone feedback. However, I didn't need it much, so I didn't pay much attention. Now, I'll wait for the service report, but if it's not replaced with a new one and fixed, its reliability is lost. So far, it was okay. Good measurements, decent speed, great autonomy, and very good clarity. Many have said it, and it's true. Unfortunately, it lacks reliability.
Update 5/8/22 After a long wait, we simply received a refund.
Apart from the fact that the blood pressure monitor does not work (cut off by Xiaomi outside of China), it is an excellent watch, sturdy, lasts over time, and has huge battery life (over a week).
Problem with the touch screen. Unacceptable treatment from Info Quest's dealership. The product was not functioning properly and even though it was under warranty, they did not replace it as they should have. After the warranty period expired, they told me that unfortunately, repairs cannot be done on this specific product, only replacement, but since the warranty had expired, it was not possible. UNACCEPTABLE. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. UNPROFESSIONALISM 0.
I had the honor and Huawei, compared to them it doesn't have anything more to offer, except for the good design, slim case.
Instability in calls and overall connectivity.
The GPS doesn't seem to be very accurate.
The progress during the workout is not audible from the watch
I bought it 6 months ago. Until yesterday everything was fine. On Sunday at the sea I forgot to take it off, resulting in the same day the battery to last only 3 hours, and the next day the touch screen didn't work. Otherwise, it is waterproof. My advice for its price is that it is a good watch but stay away from getting it wet. Not even in a million years is it waterproof.
I have it for 6 months. In general, I was very satisfied until the day before yesterday when I went into the sea and forgot to take it off, and since then the touch screen and the button that goes up and down do not work. The warranty does not apply in case water is found inside the watch.
And otherwise it is declared as "specific for swimming" and "waterproof"...
With much less money you get a better watch. Its battery does not last as promised and there is great difficulty in synchronization. My calls ring only as missed notifications. At first, I talked from the watch, after a few days not even that. If you are a girl, it will be a bit difficult for you to get used to it (if you get used to it) as the screen is huge. Finally, the zepp application compared to smartwatches of other companies I have tried is overly simple with minimal data information. In short, absolutely dissatisfied with the purchase.
I have had it for about a month and so far it is a pretty decent watch. Comfortable contact with the hand, simple and quality software and quite accurate measurements (only sometimes during sleep it does not calculate that I have woken up in the middle of the night, minimally though). Its only issue is that it does not have 14 days of autonomy with regular use, but I consider it normal; its autonomy is about 7-8 days. Overall, a very good watch, although I would prefer its price to be a little lower, at around 100€ for example.
Battery monstrous. Visually beautiful, with many functions and GPS. Waterproof. It has storage space for songs. The only thing missing is NFC. If it had NFC it would be perfect. The GPS recording is accurate and the variety of exercise recordings is very complete. It stands out for PAI, one tap measuring, and Alexa. As for apps, there is not much to say, there are few in the app. The element of responding to messages is missing, but you can set up ready-made responses yourself. Unfortunately, the speaker is placed in an ugly spot in my opinion.
I also have the Galaxy Watch 4 but I use this one because of the battery.
Excellent watch. The only negative is that sometimes it disconnects from the watch and then I have to reconnect it from my phone. Other than that, it's perfect!
It is a very beautiful watch + quite durable. The battery lasts for many days with regular use and some calls throughout the day. It has a very nice and bright screen. All its functions are flawless. I would like the speaker to be a little louder, especially when talking inside the car!
Two months in my possession very good or battery 10 days with all measurements only change the front inside the house in simple. Now I will try inside the house saving and outside all in operation to see battery. Otherwise beautiful watch and worthy.
REVIEW 2 YEARS:
Note that it is a watch that I threw away my Samsung Galaxy Watch for. For 2 years, it's perfect. Its battery has not changed at all and it still lasts 8-9 days with many notifications all day long and all automatic measurements turned off. I only had the sleep analysis feature turned on, and of course, it was always charged at the last 15%. It doesn't freeze after 2 years... it's a watch that truly does what it claims to do, with premium materials.
I only face one problem: the screen has started becoming unresponsive to touch and within a week, it doesn't respond to anything I try. However, it still functions perfectly in all other aspects, except for this, which ultimately forced me to buy the Xiaomi S1 Active, as I need a watch for work.
In the 2 years, it has suffered a couple of hits on the bezel, but not strong enough to justify any damage. If you have any idea on how it can be repaired and if it's worth it, any help is appreciated.
I believe it is a watch that you will love and it will be worth its price. We have 2, and I also bought one for my wife, and it works perfectly
It is quite good personally because it doesn't have a tremendous vibration for alarms... overall, it is quite good and I have also changed the straps, it is beautiful
I have had it in my possession for about a month. I wear it all day, at work, during sleep... I only take it off my hand when I go to the bathroom or for charging.
It is beautiful for everyday use, as well as for outings, you never get tired of it because you can change the downloaded watchfaces from the watch itself.
I haven't tested it in water yet, as I am afraid of the watch's speaker. It does not have a loudspeaker for calls or music, as you need to be stationary or have closed windows in the car to hear.
Most watchfaces are paid, with prices ranging from €0.99-€2.99, and obviously they are nicer than the few free ones offered by the app after a lot of searching.
The only drawbacks so far are the battery, as it needs charging every 5 days at most, and the lack of a keyboard to reply to messages. The only thing you can do is have 7-8 saved messages at most, which you write from the app on your phone and send whichever you want. It's a shame not being able to reply by writing what you want, especially when you are at work and can't talk.
The Bluetooth range is satisfactory, at least 7-8 meters, tested.
It receives calls normally and vibrates, but also makes a sound. It has a really great microphone, when you answer, despite the sounds in the environment around you, your voice is heard normally and clearly. You can make a call directly from the watch.
The alarm clock is very good as it has vibration and sound, and you can manage it from the watch.
I would like more detailed sleep duration through the app.
I can't give an opinion on the durability of the watch yet, as it is still early and I take great care of it.
The GPS is excellent, as it takes a maximum of 12-16 seconds to locate your position, and in the app after the end of the exercise, the route you followed and the health measurements appear with great accuracy.
I highly recommend it. I bought it for €143 and I believe it's worth it.
The only thing I have noticed is that the heart rate is not accurate several times in the water. However, I don't know if this is normal due to the water!
I have nothing different to add from all the positive comments, the watch is amazing!.. at 135 euros there is nothing better and of higher quality, it has everything even compared to newer models.. the only thing left is to prove its durability.. I recommend it.
Good clock after 1.5 years the first one I had stopped working the touch in a part of the screen. I consider it worth the money and the capabilities it has (long-lasting battery, open listening, etc.) and I bought it again
After not even a year of operation, it behaves as if the side buttons are being pressed on their own.
It has nothing to do with getting wet, as it doesn't happen consistently, the buttons seem to be in good condition, and even when it doesn't rain, they don't respond.
Although I had a good experience until it had this problem, it has completely discouraged me from getting another smartwatch from any manufacturer.
I bought it as something "different" from the others I have (black with black and gray straps), and I can say that it is quite more presentable than the photos.
Positives: Appearance, battery life (not 14 days as claimed by Amazefit, but 8-10 days with all notifications enabled and around 5 with AOD.)
Very good screen, with high resolution, clarity, and enough brightness for outdoor use.
Strong vibration and sound, so you don't miss any notifications.
The watch faces are average, with most of them costing €2.00, but there are third-party apps with much better ones and no charge.
Negatives: Amazon Alexa instead of Google Assistant.
The "App store" is a joke (or rather, a crying matter).
The watch faces that are "worth it" cost €2.00+.
It can reply to calls, but for SMS only with predefined responses and there is no option to create a new message (since there is no keyboard), nor the ability to reply to incoming messages again, as they disappear after the first reply.
When using it for 4-5 days, it becomes very slow, to the point where it appears stuck and only recovers with a restart.
Overall, a fairly good smartwatch, with limited capabilities, mainly in messages and the App store, with average software (ZeppOs), good battery life, and a very good appearance.
Coming from the amazfit gts.. I can say that it's a big upgrade... it's beautiful and has a lot of features.. you can even make calls from the watch. You can download extra apps if you want. The battery life is pretty good. The only negative for me is that it doesn't have NFC. Other than that, it's great.
It arrived on Friday, May 12th, 2023. 4 stars are just what this smartwatch needs! However, there was a serious issue with the account registration on amazfit in my opinion. Specifically, the manual states: "Note #3. Do not pair the watch directly using your mobile phone's Bluetooth. Follow the steps in the app to pair your watch correctly." So, I scan the QR code in the manual and start. The app downloads, I open it and follow the steps faithfully. Initially, it asks for registration, I give my email and password and in the second step it asks for confirmation with credit card information. I think it's scanning from the manual, I give it, since the environment is decorated with images like "Norton Sequrity" and "No extra fees", "Free of charge" and the like. In the middle of the third failed attempt, I receive a call from my bank regarding the transaction with the credit card to find out that I will be charged about $45. After the initial shock, I cancel the transaction and of course the credit card. I feel like I did something wrong and of course deceived. Nevertheless, the watch synchronized, works great and for the money it costs, it's OK. I hope I helped.
In general, for its price it is very good with a nice feel and relatively accurate measurements with a very good battery life, but.. purchased in June 2022 and March 2023 suddenly the screen does not respond to movement only to touch. I have already started the return process to see what will happen.
A smartwatch that stands out for its beautiful design, bright screen, durability, variety of measurements, and long battery life. Additionally, it is offered at a fairly attractive price that makes it even more interesting as a package. Personally, I was impressed by the clarity of the screen in all conditions. Its measurements are relatively accurate, as is the GPS.
Pros:
- Design
- Measurement accuracy
- Screen
Cons:
- The only thing I can find is that it doesn't bring any innovation compared to previous models in the series.

On the positive side, the watch is a piece of jewelry. However, the accuracy of the measurements is not very good. It often shows my heart rate at 160-170 beats per minute when I am much lower. I have also noticed inconsistency in measuring PAI. At first, it was very difficult to increase, but now it easily hits 30. However, the biggest problem I have found is with messenger and Viber notifications, as not all of them come through, especially when there are more than one message at a time. Additionally, the call quality has worsened recently. This, combined with the fact that when I have Bluetooth headphones, the call goes through the watch first and then to the headphones, causing a delay of 5-6 seconds, has made me stop using it for calls. The watch is not bad, but it does not have the expected quality for the €200 I paid for it when it first came out. If you want it for basic functions, it is perfect. If you want accuracy and reliability, look elsewhere.
I am writing to inform iPhone users (and possibly Apple Watch users) .. I had the AW 3, SE, 5, and a Garmin Forerunner.
In short, those of you who had AW will feel like you're going from high school to elementary school. The watch-mobile collaboration is at about that level, you will need to lower your expectations a lot. It does a lot of good things, but if you rely on it for perfect call and message updates on your wrist, look only at the AW (I'm talking about iPhone always). If you want it for action tracking (a little bit of everything), it's great for the price.
Only for sports activities, look at purely sport watches.
The watch looks and feels premium. However, when it comes to measuring heart rate during activities, I noticed that it lags behind sudden changes. Also, during a bike ride, while it showed a steady 179 beats, I checked my pulse on my neck and it was 115! The GPS is very accurate. The battery lasts easily for 15 days with 3-4 workouts per week, without active Bluetooth and with the screen turned off. Overall, it's a beautiful watch that can be worn comfortably everywhere. It's okay for amateur workouts.
I will update on 3/3/23. I returned the watch because we didn't get along well with the heart rate monitoring system. Especially in interval training, it was no good. To sum up, the watch is excellent as described above, but I don't think it's suitable for more specialized workouts. Of course, no one promised me that it would be!!
