In general, it is a good jacket for its price.
It has a thin fleece lining that provides a good sense of warmth.
It is windproof, but not so much when facing strong northern icy island winds.
It is waterproof, but it does not repel rain to a high extent.
Water sits on the jacket and gets absorbed. In heavy rain that I experienced for 5 minutes on a motorcycle, I did not get wet at all from the inside. But it seemed like it had absorbed rain. The only area where I felt it was wet was on the sleeves, at the point where it touches the back of the hand.
Also, a negative aspect is that in the color I got it (olive), it stains easily when something falls on it.
I haven't washed it yet to see if the stains come off easily and how well it maintains the fabric quality externally.
For its price, it is good though.
However, it could be better.
