I had bought three 16TB pieces when they were first released, for a NAS. I changed the NAS, moved the pool, they have written about 15K hours of life and still work perfectly. No bad sectors or anything. The only negative thing I have to say is the noise they make when they are being used. Not in idle. Of course, I knew this from the reviews I read.

I highly recommend it, after my own experience, I will buy another piece for a 4-slot. It's a shame that the price hasn't dropped, on the contrary, it has increased a bit compared to the price I bought it for.

Great value for money disk, 12TB for backup. It has not shown any signs of problems, so I am very satisfied. I have bought several Toshiba disks without any issues

Generally, I have issues with hard drives, my previous Toshiba 8TB was very good, so I got another Toshiba at 16TB.
I use it for desktop purposes and it usually works well, but it is quite slow when doing two tasks simultaneously.
And the previous one I had for my server was saying, but it was significantly faster.

For NAS, flawless. For desktop use, I wouldn't recommend it. It's a bit noisy during recordings. Nothing tragic, but I wouldn't want it next to me all day. Otherwise, fast and reliable.

12tb for 210-250 euros is a fair proposition per TB.
I have purchased 2 (mirror zfs) and so far everything is perfect!
Temperatures are 30-35 and only during the first re-silvering, which lasted 12 hours, they reached 39-40.

I have bought 6 of these for local data storage and I am very satisfied, after a lot of searching for me it was the best cost/performance choice. I will definitely get more of the same if needed.
