The Alphabet of the Olympic Games comes second after "1, 2, 3... 11 true stories of Olympians" and belongs to a series of editions for young children that the author, with the support of Papazisis Publications, tries to bring to the knowledge of young Greek children who are unaware of many things from our ancient past. This series also includes guided tours for children in archaeological sites of our homeland and its writing began in the 1980s, but for purely practical reasons it did not manage to be published when the country took over the organization of the Olympic Games in 2004.
