In this book, we combine theoretical approaches with action concepts and examples from educational reality. We include all Media, approach teaching with Media realistically, which is why we also talk about "Media integration", but at the same time we focus on current digital, interactive Media. According to our approach, teaching that systematically utilizes Media can only be considered efficient when its content and the basis on which it is organized are oriented towards meaningful developmental activities and tests by students.

New Media can support learning processes and play a significant role when educators engage in evidence-based instructional transformation of the school curriculum. Therefore, by creating open and situational work environments, educators also take on new roles and dare to implement new teaching and learning methods. Our experience shows that frontal teacher-centered teaching remains the norm in almost all schools today and that for efficient teaching using Media, only differentiation gives it the possibility of a pedagogically justified educational intervention, thus showing the way to the future.
