Quite large and seems to be of good quality. Some wooden fibers are flying off in certain areas, so it requires some attention to trim them slightly for the safety of the hamster. The wheel is of a decent size, in my opinion. I haven't used it yet to see if my chubby one approves, as I'm still waiting for the cage to arrive. I will come back for a complete review.
