The 6000CDT is a classic CD transport that incorporates the same loading mechanism as audiolab's iconic CD player, the 8300CD. Extremely robust and reliable, it uses a digital reading buffer to reduce reading errors on discs, capable of playing scratched and damaged CDs that are unreadable by conventional mechanisms.

The master clock is controlled by a temperature-compensated crystal, allowing the digital output from both the coaxial and optical ports to display extremely low levels of jitter.

The CD transport is housed in its own electromagnetically shielded chassis, and with its own dedicated power supply, the extraction of the digital signal from any CD is as accurate as possible.
