It provides very good support in areas of the foot that can get injured, but at the same time it is as soft as needed to not cause discomfort. They are comfortable to wear even for walking, I haven't tried intense running but I imagine that's not their purpose. They also have very good grip for changes in direction and do not slip at all on outdoor courts. I think that at 50-55 euros, they are a one-way street as an option.
