I have finished hairdressing (I no longer practice it). Until now, I straightened my hair with a professional hairdryer. Not on a daily basis.
I have frizzy and fine hair that tends to break easily. I used it at 200 degrees due to my fine hair. With just two passes, it had the desired result and lasted until the next wash, and my hair was smooth.
I used it in the same way on my sister, who has curly, thick, and fine hair that tends to frizz. She also had very good results and the duration was unexpected! Used at 200 degrees for her as well.
Whether and how much it damages the hair is a matter of frequency and proper use of the product always!
However, a straightener that doesn't damage the hair at all, let's not fool ourselves, doesn't exist even if it's professional!
But this one is worth its money!!!

Unacceptable device. After months of use, I have to say the following. It straightens very well, keeps the hair straight for days (not because the iron is good, but because it burns excessively. Good/professional irons give the same result at a low temperature), but it has damaged my ends. I used another straightener from the same company for years, day after day, with proper care and the right products, and I never had any damage to my hair except for the minimal expected. Since I switched to this one after my old one broke, my hair has become very frizzy at the ends and the strands are broken. They are constantly being cut and breaking everywhere. And I must note that my hair is very thick and resistant, it's not fine hair that breaks easily, and I have never dyed it to make it damaged. The only thing I have changed is the straightener. I will have to give it away and buy another one. It has ruined my hair in just 3 months of use. Unfortunately, this review will be buried because the product has too many good reviews, but if anyone sees this, stay away! It has cost me a lot of money in haircuts, treatments, and products to restore my hair. I was stingy and didn't want to spend a little more money to buy a professional iron, and now I have paid a much higher price to fix my hair. Save your hair, guys, and invest in GHD or CHI. Don't make the same mistake as me.

  I bought it to replace my previous straightener which suddenly started shutting off on its own. I had the previous model and I was very satisfied, it lasted almost 5 years with regular use. I made the purchase seeing the good reviews but I was completely disappointed. Very fake construction compared to the previous one. Okay, it heats up very quickly but it doesn't straighten with just one pass like I was used to with the other one. Note that my hair is long and almost straight. The Plates do not glide nicely, neither on straightening nor on curls. I always use heat protection but my hair looks damaged and not smooth after using it. Very bad choice, do not prefer it!

  Excellent hair straightener. It lasted me 9 whole years and unfortunately it broke now. I generally have easily frizzy hair, so I don't know if I'm the right person to judge if it keeps the straightness. Personally, before using this, I always applied heat protectant cream and after straightening, I used hair oil. The straightness would last for a day to a day and a half.   I had this particular hair straightener years ago and I bought it again now to try it again. It does exactly the same job it did years ago, it straightens the hair perfectly, of course my hair doesn't hold it not because of this straightener in general no straightener holds my hair.
