From perfect image. Used with MacBook Pro (gives image and charges normally) and PS5.
The base is ergonomic to the bone.
Minimal design - positive for me.
Good screen and very convenient moving arm. It serves very well that you can rotate it and vertically. Speakers are quite good and nice screen features (cinema, reading, etc.). The only negative is that for the money I paid, the frame came defective, it is not well glued, however, this is a small detail and an aesthetic issue and I did not think it was worth returning it because it had already been delayed for a month+ for delivery. So far, it has not presented any functional defect. If you are more comfortable financially or work many hours in the office, I recommend it only for the arm because I believe you can find the characteristics of the screen in other cheaper monitors.
The screen is designed for hours and hours of work. I am a programmer, I spend my life in front of it and I can assure you that it performs very well for such tasks.
The incredibly convenient feature it has is the arm it comes with, as well as the USB-C hub that provides power to the laptop. This means that I connect my laptop to the USB-C and I don't need any other cables. All the cables are behind the screen. Additionally, I can work from any angle, position of my desk, chair height, etc. It suits me well and allows me to show things to colleagues. I have had other monitor arms, and I have to say that this integrated one from LG is one of the best-designed ones.
I insisted on the arm, but obviously one should first consider if the visual characteristics of the screen suit them. I wanted something like this, a screen with this response and 4K resolution (not to mention that 4K is excessive for programming and I adjust my operating system to display everything slightly larger) etc. For my needs, its visual characteristics are excellent.
A few days in my possession. I chose 32 inches even though I am currently in a small space. I come from a laptop and I was shocked by the size, which I am still trying to get used to.
Lately, I have been dealing with Photoshop and Illustrator, so I had to move away from the 16 inches of the laptop, and it managed more than that. I connected it with an HDMI cable, which is provided.
The arm is everything. For me, who has a small space, choosing it was the only way. Now I have space to put my peripherals under the monitor and have space in front of me.
Fantastic viewing angles and a matte screen that doesn't glare.
I think it's worth the money. Maybe I would have gone for the 27-inch, but I'm afraid I would regret it. I will return with an edit in a while.
Edit within a week, I don't feel the size (which was my main problem).
Unfortunately, the laptop I have connected leaves the monitor with 30Hz and so I have some mouse lags, but anyway I will switch to a new one.
Connect to Mac Mini M1 2020 for office use. It works seamlessly with a display port cable and at a resolution I prefer: 3008x1692 compared to the HDMI cable I had at 2560x1440. Unfortunately, at the 4K resolution (3840x2160), the entire User Interface is too small for my liking!
I particularly like the matte surface that doesn't have the light reflections that strain the eyes. The presence of the arm is incredible! You can adjust it however you want and it's convenient! From demanding work hours to relaxed hours watching a movie!
I shouldn't forget to mention that I tried to connect with a USB-C to USB-C cable without success!
The package includes a USB-C to USB-C cable and an HDMI to HDMI cable.
Picture Mode: DCI-P3
Edit 22/07/2022: Upgraded to version 12.5 MacOS Monterey and now the USB-C to USB-C cable works as it should!
What I haven't managed to do yet is activate HDR from the Mac Mini. When I do, the image becomes gray even though I have enabled the option in the display settings.
Coming from Dell P2415Q, I had concerns about the size. In the end, I wonder how I managed to work on a 24-inch for so many years. Tremendous panel for the money, extremely comfortable for long office use (8-10 hours daily with AutoCAD, Word, browsing, etc.). I have no idea about gaming, but it has a nice picture and works well with Netflix. The stand is unmatched.
After a year of using the screen, I can say that I am completely satisfied. A great advantage is the articulated arm that allows multiple uses in the room, as well as the abundance of connections
