I wish I could give it 4.5/5 stars, but it is possibly one of the best purchases I've made!

First of all, I had it connected to a COMPUTER, so for those who are interested, the compatibility is excellent. Although it requires a smart trick with Steam, it is mainly recognized based on the games rather than the launcher, but I will talk about that later.
Sturdy, a bit heavier than I expected, but that has to do with the battery, I would say.. However, this doesn't really matter because when I was using it, I didn't have it flying in the air.. On the contrary, I would say that the heavier it is, the better, because you take better care of it.
The buttons are very responsive and I liked that, but over time and with use, they took longer to make the characteristic click sound, which worried me.. Maybe that's how it's designed, or maybe I had a defective model.
The L1, L2, R1, R2 buttons were incredibly good to use, but BEWARE.. I had an issue with the haptic feedback in the series, as when there was more action, I didn't respect it as much as I should have and ended up "bending" the metal behind the L2, so every time I pressed it (I had to press it all the way down), a small thin sound could be heard from the metal, which I mainly felt in my finger.
Thumbsticks... Having Steam, the first thing I did was check if there was any stick drift, and I noticed that the right thumbstick had a very slight stick drift, which worried me at first. Stick drift, for those who don't know, is when you slightly push the thumbstick in one direction, and when you release it, it remains slightly tilted towards the direction you pushed it. In other words, for the right thumbstick in most games, it means that the camera will start moving in that direction on its own.
The left thumbstick didn't have any issues, so I would mention that maybe it was a defective model.
So, the connection to the computer is mainly done through Steam, for those who want to know. You can also use other software recommended by many, but I didn't spend much time dealing with that since I had Steam ready. I opened Steam, saw that it detected the controller (wired or wireless), and then I added the game LAUNCHERS I played there. Then, I opened the launchers through Steam, and in all the games, I had full support, although it was recognized as a generic controller, it provided me with several features that my previous controller didn't have.
The best thing I can suggest is to check if each game you want to play supports DualSense software on the computer, and then simply open the launcher, not through Steam.
For example, I knew that Warzone, Apex Legends, and AC Valhalla had DualSense support, so I opened them through their respective launchers, not through Steam.
For someone who is not so familiar with these things, it might seem difficult, but after a while, it will become easier. If anyone has any questions about this, just send me a message or ask it here mentioning my name so that I can assist you.
After 2 years of using the replaced controller, I can say that it now has a problem with the right joystick, which cannot be replaced because it is out of warranty. For those who are going to play PC campaigns and multiplayer modern games (from 2018 onwards), get it with closed eyes!
Now I will go for the Xbox Elite Series 2 because I want to have extra buttons and easy application for what I will do on the PC. A review is also expected there!
It's really tragic that my controller started drifting shortly after a month. For those who don't know what drifting is, it's when the joysticks stay in their original position but it feels like you're pushing them left and right... like when your character turns in a game without you moving the joystick. Since the day before yesterday, the drifting has been really intense and I can't play games. On the Sony.gr website, when I go to the replacement page, it shows what's in the picture.
This problem also happened with the DualShock, but not as quickly. They should have made it better, not worse... if anyone else has the same problem, please tell me how you solved it.
Another complaint I have, which isn't as important, is that compared to the DualShock, the PS button on the DualSense is harder to press.
Update (9/25/2022): Now the drifting is happening again with the controller they replaced for me a month ago, which is also out of warranty.
Update (4/5/2023): Now, in addition to the original controller that broke and was replaced, I have 3 DualSense controllers at home, 2 of which have drift. That means one is the original that broke and was replaced, then the replacement broke, and then the one I bought to replace the replacement also broke. Now let's see how long the fourth one lasts, I've had it for about 2 months. The previous one should still be under warranty and I should return it, but I haven't done it yet.
Sony please fix your controllers I have bought three of them and the two of them had stick drift which I had to fix by myself am the other man very bad quality of the plastics and the options button on the controller sticks sometimes when I press it. Maybe Sony wants us to bug dual-sense edge controllers which are more durable and if the have stick drift we can replace the stick modules with new ones an not pay full price on a new controller
The build quality is terrible. Apart from the fact that stick drift occurs in the first few months, it is not durable. With the slightest hit/fall, something can break (microphone, buttons, or the stick). For 70€ the controller is a joke for the consumer
Sturdy construction at 280g. Fits perfectly in palms like mine (medium-sized). Doesn't strain the tendons of the fingers. R, L buttons are quite soft.
Now, regarding any misunderstandings about the model. This particular one is the V2 with FCC ID expiration → 1B. The 1B is an upgraded version of the 1A and as far as I know, the most recent one. The colored models (all except the white one) are at least V2 with ID 1A.
Purchased during days of Play 2023. I liked the color, but also the texture is very nice, it doesn't slip as much as the white one. Normal use, with plenty of FPS games, has not presented any issues
I don't know why, but from the beginning when I first opened it and used it, the buttons don't press well
After almost 2 years of use, my observation is that it may be the worst controller Sony has released. Stick drifting in 6 months and then in a new controller the same after a few months while the stick also broke. I have already used 4 controllers. The controller of the PS4 was more reliable. It does not justify its cost. EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE!! Here the saying "you get what you pay for" does not apply.
I have been using the dualsense controller that came with the Playstation 5 for almost 3 years, and I think I can write my opinion on it!
POSITIVES:
1) It has a very nice build quality compared to the dualshock 4! You don't feel like you're holding plastic in your hands, but something better and sturdy.
2) The buttons, joysticks, touchpad, and triggers have a nice feel to them!
3) I can't overlook the new innovations in vibrations and triggers. They make the gaming experience different in games that support these technologies. You feel the environment (e.g. when stepping on snow or swimming) and the sensation of objects you use (e.g. when shooting with a gun or sniper)!
4) Long battery life! (If you have vibrations enabled, the battery loses a lot of its duration)
NEGATIVES:
1) The dualsense (like other controllers on the market) besides the usage you will make, luck plays a HUGE role in whether the controller will experience DRIFT (and not only). I consider it tragic to pay 70€ (or 50€ if you find it on sale) for controllers and have them break within the first few months. Maybe I was lucky, but from kids I know, within the first 3 months, with not much usage, the controller started to drift. The dualsense that came with my console started to drift recently after about 2.5 years of use. Was I lucky? Did I use it well? I don't have an answer.
CONCLUSION:
As a controller, it is very good! Whether it is worth it depends on the hands of each user. Controllers, like headphones, are purely subjective because we are not all the same. As a user who has worked with it for several years, I am satisfied!
It has very good compatibility with PC, and that was the reason I bought it. Very nice controller and comfortable to hold :)
Very good for its price (bought for 57 euros through skroutz). I didn't notice any difference in its handling compared to the Sony DualSense V1, but I will come back regarding the battery life (it is said to have a longer battery life than the V1). However, what I want to emphasize is to pay attention when you buy it, the FCC ID should be AK8CFIZCT1A and not AK8CFIZCT1B, which is the FCC ID of the first dualsense. (It is written on the back of the controller in capital letters). Initially, I ordered the dualsense v2 from another store, but I received dualsense v1 and canceled it since they informed me that they don't have the V2. So, check as soon as you receive the controller. I hope I helped regarding this.
So the controller is the best thing I've ever held in my hands. Until now, it was the Xbox Series one that I use on PC. I have both of them in a photo so you can see that they are roughly the same size. The only thing I don't like is the shape of the handles because if your hand sweats even a little, they slip and come off. The same goes for the joysticks. The Xbox controller has joysticks in a concave shape and a non-slip design around them, while the DS joysticks do not. I have uploaded a photo as well. They have come off several times due to sweat on my fingers. Also, personally, I would prefer it to take removable AA or CR123A batteries for greater capacity. The ones I have in the Xbox controller are 2,300 mAh each and you really forget to recharge them. The DS battery barely lasts a day even if you have the backlight at a low level, while if you have activated functions like adaptive triggers at full intensity, mic, backlight above normal intensity, etc., it drains it. It is very small for its specifications. As for gaming on PC, I would not recommend it. If you want to see its real functions, play on the PS5.
Very good controller. I use it for PC and I have no issues, it is a simple controller. It doesn't have anything amazing like back buttons, so for 60€ I would like something more.
Well, I will start with the positives... First of all, we are talking about the best controller available on a console... It has a very precise TouchPad which is also a regular button... Good quality speaker where you can hear the effects of each game... Microphone that you can activate or deactivate instantly with a button... Haptic feedback, adaptive triggers, and countless other features... Amazing feel in the hand, nothing like Dualshock, that's why it's called Dualsense...
Now the downside.......... The one and only negative... Stick Drifting... It is unacceptable from Sony to have such an issue within 6, 7, 8 months... Yes, okay, if it's within warranty they will replace it with a new one, like I did too, but still in a year at most the same thing again;;;;;;;;; Just to inform the world, this issue is present worldwide, that's why Sony has faced crazy lawsuits... Sorry for my rambling.
When I had it charging, I heard a sound. When I tried to see what happened, the battery had exploded and shattered. Unacceptable
Stick drift in 6 months is unacceptable.... I have 2 dualsense controllers and one of them had stick drift after 6 months. The dualshock 4 never had such an issue in 6 years of use....
I bought my first ps5 controller and it broke a month after a year of use. The L2 trigger in the plastic and the spring holder broke. So I had to buy a new one because it cannot be fixed with a replacement part. So I got the same brand new one, thinking that it was just a coincidence that it broke... if it wasn't a coincidence... the second one I bought broke in the same spot within a month... the triggers are terrible unfortunately, and that alone forces me to give it 1 star, which is a lot considering the money you spend. It's a shame because I was used to quality from Sony for so many years. It disappointed all of us
The new generation controllers of the PS5, which end with the code CT1B and you recognize it from the fact that it is new on the back of the controller. Beautiful in sterling silver and makes you reminisce moments from the old PS with its presentation. 5-10 euros more than the plain white ones, but if you can, it's worth it!

It works perfectly on Windows and Steam. It is comfortable to hold and has a good button feel. However, some of the DualSense features, such as haptic feedback and adaptive triggers, are not fully supported on Windows and Steam. Maybe I didn't manage to do it, if you know any way to enable all the functions on the computer, please help.
I use it to play FIFA 2024 and it is an excellent experience. However, if you are looking for the full DualSense experience, you might consider using it with a PlayStation 5, but it's also okay on PC.
This specific controller is proof that this particular controller design is the best. It is extremely ergonomic and the battery lasts a long time for me, as I play for 3 to 5 hours a day. The charging is relatively slow, taking about 2 hours from 12% to 100%. I have mentioned that it is not worth its price, and this is 100% true for me because no controller is worth its price nowadays. 60 euros for a controller is a tragic price.
Be very careful with the double input on the PC if you previously had extra programs for other unrelated controllers that you had purchased. It is advisable to delete them from your PC because the controller will behave very strangely. Even if you use ds4windows, be very cautious about how you use it.
I have 2 of these, the white and the camouflage, which for me is by far the most beautiful. I have had them for 1+ year (together with the console of course) and they are great and very functional, no drifting or anything. If you take care of them, they will take care of you. They fill your hands and the technologies with the paddles and feedback are awesome. By far the best controller on the market.
Excellent Controller, definitely the best one Sony has made. Its best feature is the Adaptive Triggers that make you feel like you're inside the game. It has different levels of vibration that change automatically based on the game, and it connects everywhere via Bluetooth. That is, PlayStation 5, PC, Android, and iOS. It's definitely worth it!!!!
I have it for six months in blue color and the analog stick has started drifting. Apart from that, in my opinion, the controller is great, it is the best one available
It is a classic dual sense controller, very good. The color elevates it. As soon as I got this, I stopped playing with the white one that came with the Ps5
I deduct one star because the left analog stick started drifting after about 2 years of use. I did use it for gaming quite a bit, but I took good care of it and it hasn't been dropped or hit, and it's the first controller (out of many that I own) that has started drifting. It might have been just my unit, but I can't overlook it.
I use it mainly for PC gaming with Steam. Having owned fifteen controllers (all first-party and some well-known third-party brands), I can confidently say that this is my favorite. You can feel the solid construction, without any creaking, and the materials are quite durable. Perhaps the only controller that feels slightly more premium to the touch is the Xbox controller, but for me, in terms of ergonomics and how comfortable it is in the hand, nothing can beat it (although this is subjective to some extent). The buttons have a perfect click and provide good feedback to the user, the analog sticks have a good height and are precise (no drifting after two years), and the triggers are possibly the best ones out there, with nice resistance and a long travel distance. Unfortunately, on PC, the haptic feedback only works with specific Sony games. The only mediocre aspect is the D-pad, which I find quite heavy, and the empty space in the middle is not very convenient for games like fast-paced platformers. The battery life is okay, about 7-8 hours, but it's almost half the duration compared to the Xbox controller. At least it has a built-in battery and doesn't require external chargers. On the downside, I noticed occasional slight input lag when connected via Bluetooth to the computer. It's not a constant issue, but many times I had to connect the cable to be able to play fast-paced action segments properly.
Overall, I think it's the best option in this price range, and I believe it offers enough features to a satisfactory degree that there are few reasons to spend more money on a more expensive controller (pro controller, edge, scarf, etc.)
Perfect color, purple, and very high quality, but I bought it because my other one started drifting on the left analog stick after 4 months of use. It's just tragic that I didn't notice it sooner.
For those who want to upgrade from PS4 to PS5 or want to get their first PS5, I will explain in detail whether this controller is worth it or not.
First of all, the updated adaptive triggers and haptic feedback are truly incredible. Depending on the situation you are in, the buttons harden when you press them or relax accordingly. Also, the vibration is extreme and really immerses you in the game. It has a sturdy construction and for me, it is 100% positive. It has silent buttons, a relatively good battery that, however, easily drains with the adaptive triggers and haptic feedback, and needs improvement, but it is not very negative, it is logical. It connects easily and quickly, I don't even need to mention it. It has a nice grip that makes you feel better and hold it better. It is beautiful and comes in many colors. With the DualSense, you won't go back to DualShock4. It is a one-way street.
Now, if it's worth going from PS4 to PS5, I would definitely say PS5, as the console and the controller have nothing to do with each other. Of course, if you don't have a PlayStation and are thinking of getting one, what are you waiting for?
Best controller.. and for the best possible experience on PC, combine it with DSX.
I have it here for 1.5 years. I do not regret the purchase at all. It is really quiet and very convenient, with a nice feel. I have never encountered any issues regarding its connectivity, nor any drifting or misinput. The only "negative" thing I can think of is that if you press the buttons a little harder, they may get "stuck" for a moment and take a second to bounce back. It has never happened to me, but some of my friends who use it have complained about it occasionally.
Unfortunately, its durability only lasts a few months, the button drifts, besides that fact, it is the best game console controller ever.
Solid controller with vibration and nice feel, but... the analog sticks break very easily, and both of the ones I have have broken. I sent them for repair and they broke again... major fail by Sony here.
